Abstract

The present subject matter provides a method for enhancing the drought resistance of a plant. In some embodiments, polynucleotides from Sorghum bicolor that hybridize to polynucleotides isolated from rice (Oryzasativa) and encode polypeptides for abiotic stress tolerance are also described.
