Abstract

The present invention disclosed a method of assigning bandwidth resource of the ABIS interface. The key is that setting call processing module, bandwidth managing module and control managing module; Deploying the PVC which is used to transmitting the given traffic type within the ABIS interface resource; when the call processing module applies for the ABIS interface resource, the bandwidth managing module determines the traffic type, calculates the bandwidth that the traffic needs and then queries the current assignable bandwidth of the PVC that transmits corresponding traffic type from the control managing module, if the current assignble bandwidth of the PVC is larger than or equal to the calculated bandwidth that the traffic needs, the bandwidth managing module assigns the resource of the PVC to the call procession module, otherwise, if the PVC that transmits other traffic types has usable bandwidth resource, the bandwidth managing module assigns the bandwidth resource which uses to transmit other traffic type to the call processing module, if hasn't, the bandwidth managing module refuses to assign the bandwidth resource of the ABIS interface to the call processing module.
