Abstract

The invention relates to a method for transmitting an estimation of at least one propagation channel of a receiver to a transmitter. According to the invention, said receiver is used to implement the following stages: estimation of said transmission channel; projection of said estimation onto a two-dimensional (time/frequency) function base, delivering a set of projection coefficients; transmission of data representing said set of projection coefficients to the transmitter such that the transmitter can reconstruct a profile of said transmission channel as seen by the receiver.
