[Background Art] Generally, there are a laptop computer, a palmtop computer, and a personal digital assistant (PDA) as an image display, and in recent years, display technologies using the virtual reality have been developed and adopted to the HMD to be worn on the user's head. In the HMD system, there are several systems according to display method, that is, a cathode ray tube mirror reflection system including a helmet provided with two cathode ray tubes (CRT), an optical system, and sensor for detecting the position and direction of the user's head and a computer installed exterior of the helmet, a penetration type quid crystal display (LCD) using the time difference of right and left eyes, a light emitting diode scanning system for generating an afterimage effect of eyes due to the optical patterns emitted from one-dimensional light emitting diode (LED) array and for obtaining a two-dimensional pattern due to the afterimage effect of the eyes. As described above the HMD is widely utilized in the virtual reality game, education, medical field, watching movie, and the like, and is divided into a helmet type HMD, and a glasses type HMD according to the mounting of the HMD to the user's head. In order to watch the image contents regardless of the helmet type HMD and the glasses type HMD, the HMD must include a separated device for transmitting the image contents stored in the personal computer (PC), a video cassette recorder (VCR), a DVD player, a game machine, and the like to the HMD, and reproducing the image contents in an image displaying section. The conventional HMD, for example, is disclosed in the Korean Patent No. 10- 0401786 (three-dimensional image display). FIG. 1 illustrates mounting a three-dimensional image display, as shown in the drawing, a portable three-dimensional image display 1 outputs audio/video data by decoding the same according to the control of a small-sized function input section, provided at the outside, for storing the audio/video (A/V) data. The glasses type HMD 2 mounted on the user's head displays the image outputted from the portable three-dimensional display 1, and outputs the inputted audio signal through earphone type speakers worn in the user's ears. As described above, in comparison with the HMD for simply displaying the image contents provided from a large sized video device, the conventional portable three- dimensional image display adopts an image contents storing device, so as to implement the three-dimensional image display into a portable image display and to enable the user to watch the three-dimensional image anytime, and anywhere. However, according to the conventional portable three-dimensional image display, since the three-dimensional image display for reproducing the three-dimensional image is separated from the HMD, the HMD must be connected to the three-dimensional image display via wired connection, and is mounted on somewhere of the user's or is put in a bag.
Thus, it is very inconvenient to use.
