Abstract

The invention relates to a connection cable (1) for exchanging data between a first device (3) and a second device (2) and for transmitting power from the first device (3) to the second device (2). Said connecting cable (1) comprises a first interface to be removably connected to the first device (3), a second interface to be removably connected to the second device (2), and a connecting line for transmitting data and power between the first and the second interface. The first and the second interface are configured such that data between the first device and the first interface and between the second device and the second interface is exchanged without galvanic coupling while power is inductively transmitted from the first device to the first interface and from the second interface to the second device. Preferably, data is also exchanged in an inductive manner by modulating the AC voltage signal used for transmitting power.
