Abstract

La présente invention concerne une partie de texte actualisable ou SnippetTM qui consiste en un court extrait, habituellement une valeur numérique ou quelques mots de texte, extrait d'une page Web existante. L'extrait est actualisé à des intervalles de temps réguliers à partir de la page Web située chez le serveur, ce qui donne l'impression que l'extrait est une vue en direct d'une partie de la page Web originale. L'extrait peut être interprété et manipulé par des applications informatiques comme s'il s'agissait d'un entité indépendante autonome. Une application informatique qui utilise différentes parties de texte actualisables ou SnippetsTM extraits de différentes pages Web permet de multiplier et mettre en valeur les informations contenues dans ces pages Web de manière créative.
