Abstract

The present invention relates to an aqueous disinfecting solution which comprises silver ions and may be used for disinfecting various objects such as exhibition halls, premises, kitchen equipment or other items for ground storage or preservation or for sanitary transport, etc. This invention essentially relates to an aqueous disinfecting solution which contains silver ions and also includes nitric acid or a nitric-acid potassium or sodium salt as well as a detergent in the following proportions: from 0.1 • 10-5 to 1.0 wt.% of silver ions; from 0.25 to 5.0 wt.% of nitric acid or a nitric-acid potassium or sodium salt; and from 1.0 to 2.0 wt.% of detergent, the balance being distilled water. This invention is characterised in that the solution also comprises ammonia in an amount ranging from 5 to 15 wt.% and in that the detergent is a trinatrophosphate or a synthetic surface agent consisting in laurylsulphate or laurylsulphanate.
