Abstract

The invention relates to a method for transmitting information to a mobile part (POP) of a cellular mobile radiotelephone system, comprising at least one base station (FIP), said base station being connected to a communications network (NET), and at least one mobile part (POP). The invention also relates to a mobile radiotelephone system. A specific item of information (INF) to be transmitted to the mobile part (POP) is sent by at least one long-wave transmitter (LWS) and the radio coverage range of said long-wave transmitter or at least one long-wave transmitter detects the position of the mobile part, said mobile part having an additional long-wave receiver.
