Hinzukommt, daß die elektrischen Anschlüsse für die Antenne mechanisch empfindlich sind. Des weiteren sind für den Empfang von Satellitensignalen, beispielsweise vom GPS-Satelliten (Global Positioning System) , Antennenelemente mit entsprechendem Vorverstärker in einem kleinen Gehäuse bekannt. Das Gehäuse wird beispielsweise auf dem Kofferraumdeckel des Kraftfahrzeugs befestigt.
