Eine Faxseite hat in der Regel die Größe DIN A4. In heutigen Notebooks, Palmtops usw. wird dieses Problem dadurch gelöst, daß ein Bildausschnitt durch Betätigung der Cursortasten verschoben wird. Der auf der Anzeigeeinrichtung dargestellte Bildausschnitt der Faxseite oder eines anderen übertragenen Dokumentes wird nach oben bzw. nach unten und nach links bzw. rechts, wie bei Textbearbeitungsprogrammen üblich, verschoben. Ein inzwischen üblicher Ausdruck für die Verschiebung des Bildausschnitts, bezogen auf die Dokumentenvorlage, ist „gescrollt" .An important part of data transmission is the transmission of documents by fax. Hierdurch ist es möglich, die Anzeigeeinrichtung AE wie ein Fenster oder eine Lupe über einen fiktiven Arbeitsplatz bzw. einer fiktiven Dokumentenvorlage zu verwenden. Durch Bewegen der Anzeigeeinrichtung AE werden die sozusagen darunterliegenden Ausschnitte des fiktiven Arbeitsblattes sichtbar.
Die erfindungsgemäß ausgebildeten Anzeigeeinrichtung AE kann, eingebaut in einen Computer C oder verbunden mit einem externen Computer, beispielsweise für Textbearbeitung, für Zeichenprogramme oder für Tabellenkalkulationen verwendet werden. Die Verwendung der Anzeigeeinrichtung als Lupe ist, besonders bei nur begrenzter Pixelauflösung, sinnvoll. Claims
1. Anzeigeeinrichtung (AE) für einen Computer (C) , insbesondere einen mobilen Kleincomputer, zur Darstellung von Doku- menten, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Anzeigeeinrichtung (AE) einen derart ausgebildeten Positionsgeber (PG) aufweist, so daß eine Verschiebung der Anzeigeeinrichtung (AE) in Bezug zu einer fiktiven Vorlage erfaßbar ist.1.
