Abstract

The roulette comprises two or more concentric rings (10) separated from one another. Each of the rings (10) is divided into subsets of natural numbers which are indicated by the ball indicator (7), which begins from the centre of the disc. In the spaces between the marked concentric rings (10), floating ring baffles (11) are installed, functioning if necessary as barriers which prevent the ball (7) from returning to previously played positions.

Description

ROULETTE OF TUMANOV
TECHNICAL FIELD
Invention is related to the field of production of gaming-devices of roulette type.
BACKGROUND ART
Known since XVIII century any device used to play "roulette"-game contains a round disk, which is set on the gaming-table having possibility to be rotated easily in a horizontal plane. Invariable attribute of the disk's playing surface of the most popular among the known of European variant of the ancestral roulette, as well as all its modern analogues, is a peripheral ring, divided into 37 equal in size sectors, marked in a definite order with numbers from 0 to 36 [1].
The game's idea is as follows: a player has to guess the number of a sector where the ball will roll being thrown in by a croupier into the immovable circular chute contouring the disk, towards the opposite direction of the disk's rotation. Due to the difference between speed of the ball's movement and the disk's rotation speed, the ball rolls down into one of sectors of the external ring of the disk long before the latter is completely stopped, that significantly shorten an already short-lived process of determining the winning numbers. In order that the ball is held in its orbit a longer time and thus prolonged keeping the players who made a bet with a croupier under stress longer, in some cases, electromagnetic accelerators are installed in the chute wall, along which the ball moves [2;3]. This innovation, like any other of this type which can improve technical features of the device are in contradiction with a principle of the autonomous operating conditions of the roulette and in conflict with interests of the players preferring uncontrolled and open game.
DISCLOSURE OF INVENTION
To remove causes, which create time deficit for deteirnining winning numbers without applying assistance of the mechanics adjacent sciences, it is proposed to perform by increasing the number of marked concentric rings of the roulette's disk from one to two or more units depending on the predeterrnined device's operating conditions. In this case, the finite set of the playing natural numbers fitted in the game is divided into a given amount of the belonging to it unequivalent subsets, which have their own independent playing positions depending on the location of the concentric rings of the roulette's disk. If the idea of creating multi-tact disk with operating mode of stage-fay-stage drawing of a definitely differentiated set of the playing out numbers will be implemented it allows to provide a sharp increase in complete playing cycle duration in comparison with the overall duration of the game, conducted when using the known device of ancestral roulette, given as a prototype.
To solve this problem, the roulette contains a gaming-table with a displayed playing table to stake, circular chute connected with the table's surface, the bone or polymeric ball to indicate gained numbers and a round disk, which, according to the invention, consists of several (two or more) marked concentric rings spatialy isolated from each other, between which spaces the floating ring baffles are installed. The number of concentric disk's rings corresponds to the number of the subsets being played out consequently. The latters are presented by series of natural numbers which are differed by their length: each series played out previously is twice shorter than series played out afterwards. Thus, as shown in the annex to the below construction of the three-tact disk, the first subset of natural numbers is played out on the first of three rings, located closer to the center of the disk and which composing 1/4 part of the playing set, on the second one - the second, composing 1/2 of its part and on the third external ring of the disk - the third subset equal to the set itself and is played out as the last one in the series of the subsets, belonging to a given playing set. Relative double increase in the length of the played out subsets is connected with solution to the problem of the transformation successive series of the natural numbers, presenting them, to the most acceptable discrete series to be played out by means of such numbers allocation, when the numbers of the transfoiming series which exceeded value of the finite member of the previous one, would be alternated with the numbers of the latter.
In accordance with the above concept of the played out set of numbers allocation, each concentric ring of the disk is divided into equal ring sectors, within the limits of each. Ring sectors which numbers from each previous to the following ring outward from the disk's center are doubled. Their assigned numbers are distributed along the rings in such a way that the numbers of the sectors of each of them, absent on the previous, are alternated with numbers, which repeated the numbers of the sectors of the previous ring. Generalization of the structure of the playing surface of the roulette's disk is achieved by using combination of the axial planes of the sectors with the same ordinal numerals, belonged to different concentric rings.
Floating ring baffles, located in spaces between the marked concentric rings of the disk, are capable of rising up to the level of the top edges which delimit sectors of the radial baffles, and regaining its original position, where their upper cuts are merged into the ring surface, foirning a united overturned gently sloping conic surface with its top located in a center of the disk.
Thus, in comparison with the prototype, the applied roulette construction differs from the known one in that fitted in the game of a considered one, finite set of the played out natural numbers, is distributed as belonging to it unequivalent subsets over s e v e r a l c o n c e n t r i c r i n g s of the disk, delimited by the f l o a t i n g r i n g b a f f l e s, functioning if necessary as barriers, which are obstruct out a ball passing to previously played out playing positions.
The above-mentioned characteristics would suffice to use the applied invention as a device to play "roulette" within the regime of stage- by-stage drawing fitted in the game of a differential set of natural numbers, which repeatedly increase the complete playing cycle duration.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS
The invention is illustrated by Fig.1 showing the general view of the roulette with a three-tact disk, which is intended to play out a 24-element playing set, and by Fig. 2 showing diametrical section of the roulette's disk in a position, corresponding to the drawing of a second subset of the natural numbers, played out on the marked concentric ring which is second from a disk center.
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
The roulette includes a gaming-table 1 with a playing table 2 and a gain factors table 3 displayed on its surface, a keyboard of lighting the gained numbers 4, a round three-tact disk 5, a fixed immovable circular chute 6, contouring the disk 5, and a ball-indicator 7. The disk 5 is put on a shaft 8, held in an upright position by the bracket 9. In the disk 5 three concentric rings 10 are mounted, between which spaces two floating ring baffles 11 are installed. Along the periphery of the disk 5 there are 48 core elements of an obstructing system 12 intended for killing the ball's kinetic energy before it falls on a disk playing surface.
Concentric rings 10 via protruded below their surface radial baffles 13 are divided, within the limits of each of them, into equal ring sectors 14. A first concentric ring which located closer to a disk's center, consists of six sectors, a second one has twelve sectors, and a third external ring has twenty four sectors. The first concentric ring sectors are assigned numbers from 1 to 6, the second one - from 1 to 12 and the third one - from 1 to 24. Assigned numbers to sectors 14 of the concentric rings 10 of the disk 5 is performed in such a way that the numbers of the sectors of each of them, missing from the previous, which located closer to a disk center, are alternated with the numbers, repeating the numbers of the sectors of a previous ring, meanwhile retaining the established order of the radial-pyramidal location of the sectors, when the axis planes of the sectors 14 with the same ordinal number, belonging to different concentric rings 10, are lying in one radial plane of the disk 5.
Floating ring baffles 11 by means of spokes 15 are connected with movable rings 16, located inside the disk 5. Spring-loaded from the below movable rings 16 are pressed from the above by the bell 17, connected with a figured handle 18.
INDUSTRIAL APPLICABILITY
In the starting position, corresponding to the beginning of the game, all ring baffles 11 lowered down to the level of the surface of the concentric rings 10. In the initial stage of the game the numbers corresponding to the sectors of the first ring numbers are played out by throwing in the ball 7 into the circular chute 6 in a direction opposite to the disk's 5 rotation. After practically full stop of the disk 5 the ball 7 leaves its orbit and while passing through an obstructing system 12 and a labyrinth, formed by protruded below their surface radial baffles 13, and fall on one of the sector of the first concentric ring. The number of the sector, where the ball 7 will fall on, is stored and lighted up in the playing table 2 by pressing an appropriate key on a keyboard 4, then turning up to an angle of 40° clockwise relative to the disk 5 of the handle 18, connected with the bell 17, the upper movable ring 16 spring-loaded from below is set free, resulting in raising up to a level of the upper edges of the radial baffles 13 of the first ring baffle 11, located between the first and the second concentric rings 10. Elevated over the playing surface of the disk 5 the first ring baffle 11 will keep from passing the again thrown-in the game ball 7 during second drawing stage to the just played out playing positions of the first concentric ring 10. Before the start of the third, closing drawing stage, similarly the second ring baffle is transferred to its upper position in such a way that when the winning numbers, assigned to the sectors of the external ring are identified, both ring baffles 11, delimited marked concentric rings 10, extend beyond the playing surface of the disk 5 in height equal to the radial baffles 13 height. Resetting of the ring baffles 11 into the starting position, corresponding to a new gaming cycle beginning, is provided by turning the handle 18 in reference to the disk 5 to the same direction and through the same angle degree as in two previous cases.
