Abstract

Un réseau de télécommunications synchrone numérique comporte plusieurs noeuds (301, 302, 304, 305) reliés par plusieurs dispositifs de liaison et communiquant par le biais d'un agrégat optique. Une installation de ligne de service pour données techniques est mise en place entre les noeuds, laquelle installation comporte plusieurs terminaux de données (306) susceptibles d'être connectés directement aux noeuds individuels aux fins d'une communication sur l'agrégat optique. Les terminaux de données, qui effectuent un groupage en paquets de données relatives à une ligne de service pour données techniques, qui dépaquettent également ces données et les compactent, fonctionnent avec un modèle de protocole d'interconnexion des systèmes ouverts (ISO).
