Description

Beschreibung:Description:
Trockenschrank mit verbesserter EnerσieausnutzunDrying cabinet with improved energy efficiency
The present invention relates to a drying cabinet according to the preamble of claim 1.
Such a drying cabinet is known from DE-PS 36 32 820. In the cited patent, a method is listed for disinfecting goods, in particular laundry, particularly sensitive fabrics, pure wool, duvets, pillows, down comforters, woolen blankets and leather shoes and any other objects, for example cutlery, in a disinfection cabinet, where gaseous substances which are led through the treatment room in a closed circuit system are heated by a heat exchanger arranged in the closed circuit system. The gaseous substances consist of atmospheric air, the material being dried in the same treatment room in which the disinfection takes place before the disinfection. At times, the ambient air surrounding the disinfection cabinet flows through the heat exchanger, the gaseous substances of the closed circulation system being separated from the ambient air within the heat exchanger. In the closed circuit system, condensation in the heat exchanger is ended after the drying process has ended, and after disinfection, the heat exchanger cools the gaseous gases Closed circulatory system substances. In addition, the drying cabinet can be used to ventilate objects located therein by passing ambient air through without heating.
Even if the known method and the associated drying cabinet, which has the features of the preamble of claim 1, have proven their worth, it is perceived as a disadvantage that the energy consumption of the known method or the known drying cabinet is relatively high .
It is the object of the present invention to further develop a drying cabinet of the generic type in such a way that a reduction in energy consumption is achieved while the methods remain the same.
The object is achieved by a generic drying oven with the characterizing features of claim 1.
By means of the air / air heat pump with a first heat exchanger as the heat sink and a second heat exchanger as the heat source, the heat of condensation of the water vapor contained in the air flow led through the first heat exchanger is at least partially used for heating of the air stream to be supplied to the interior can be used, thereby achieving significant energy savings.
The air / air heat pump known per se usually has an electrically drivable compressor, a throttle element and a refrigerant flowing through the two heat exchangers, the compressor and the throttle element. In this circuit, gaseous refrigerant is drawn in by the compressor, compressed and further transported, after which the gaseous refrigerant gives off and condenses in the second heat exchanger arranged after the compressor. The refrigerant is preferably propane, which is an environmentally friendly refrigerant without a negative influence on the atmospheric ozone layer, or a technically suitable HFC or CFC or NH 3. The heat exchangers are expediently finned tube heat exchangers.
In a further embodiment of the drying cabinet according to the invention, switchable air guide channels are provided in it, through which in a first operating mode of the drying cabinet intended for drying the air stream emerging from the first heat exchanger can be fed to the second heat exchanger and in a second, also for drying In the intended mode of operation, the air stream emerging from the first heat exchanger can be discharged to the outside and ambient air can be supplied to the second heat exchanger. This configuration of the drying cabinet allows operation in the objects located therein to be operated either in a closed or in an open circuit, with the air duct in the switchable air duct only having to be switched to change between the operating modes.
Claim 3 specifies an embodiment of the drying cabinet according to the invention, which enables it to operate in a third manner, for ventilating objects arranged in the interior of the drying cabinet.
The embodiment of the drying cabinet specified in claim 4 makes it suitable for disinfection or sterilization of the objects arranged therein. Finally, the invention proposes to equip the drying cabinet with a control and regulating unit, by means of which the operating mode of the drying cabinet can be selected by a user and by means of which depending on predetermined and / or predeterminable time periods and / or Air flow temperatures and / or air flow humidities, the heat pump and the blower and, if appropriate, the additional heating device can be switched on and off and, if appropriate, their output can be regulated and by means of which the air duct can be switched. This results in a particularly simple operation of the drying cabinet for the user, since the user only has to select the desired program for the operating mode to be carried out, after which all the necessary processes are then carried out automatically by the control and regulating unit. Suitable control and regulating units are known per se from other applications and can be adapted without great effort for the drying cabinet according to the invention.
Sie zeigt inA preferred embodiment of the drying cabinet according to the invention will now be explained in more detail with reference to a drawing. It shows in
Figur 1 schematisch eine Vorderansicht mit entfernter Tür und Frontwand, inFigure 1 schematically shows a front view with the door and front wall removed, in
Figur 2 eine Seitenansicht mit einer entfernten Seiten¬ wand, um das Innere freizugeben, und inFigure 2 is a side view with a side wall removed to reveal the interior, and in
Figure 3 is a block diagram of the heat pump with blower and electric heater as part of the drying cabinet.
12 verbinden. With reference to Figure 1, an interior 10 of a drying cabinet 1 is shown, which is to the left of a side tenwand 11 and right of a side wall 12 is limited. Outside each of the side wall 11 and the side wall 12 there is an intermediate wall 6 and behind this an outer wall 5. Between the outer wall 5 and the intermediate wall 6 and also between the intermediate wall 6 and the side wall 11, 12 there is an air-permeable gap, the side wall 11 and also the side wall 12 having a multiplicity of openings 13 which connect the interior space 10 with the gap space between the intermediate wall 6 and the side wall 11 and 12, respectively.
The components of a heat pump 2 are arranged underneath the interior 1, this being shown only schematically as a block.
Above the interior 10 there are two air inlet openings 4 for ambient air U to be sucked in if necessary, which are in flow connection with the gap between the walls 5 and 6.
In Figure 1, the drying cabinet according to the invention is in an operating mode for drying e.g. shown of laundry in which the air circulates in a closed circuit.
Air drawn off from the interior 10 and loaded with water vapor is passed as exhaust air stream A past the lower end of the interior 10 behind the heat pump 2 to the feed side located below. This air entering a first heat exchanger of the heat pump 2 is dried here by cooling and heated when the heat pump is switched on via a second heat exchanger of the heat pump 2 and according to the arrows shown on the right and left of the heat pump 2 as a warm air flow W from bottom to top in the Gaps between the partition 6 and the side walls 11 and 12 directed by where the heated air enters the interior 10 and flows through the material to be dried in an irregular flow direction and absorbs moisture from it while cooling.
The water obtained in the first heat exchanger during cooling by condensation is collected or fed to a drain.
Figur 2 zeigt in einer Seitenansicht, wie der Abluft¬ strom, der wiederum mit A gekennzeichnet ist, durch ei¬ nen Luftführungskanal 19 hinter der Wärmepumpe 2 von oben nach unten in den Raum unterhalb des ersten Wärme¬ tauschers eintritt (siehe dort Pfeil A) , durch den er¬ sten Wärmetauscher in den zweiten Wärmetauscher eintritt und dort erwärmt wird, wonach die Luft als Warmluftstrora W von unten nach oben (in der Figur 2 nicht sichtbar) zu den Öffnungen 13 strömt und in den Innenraum 10 ein¬ tritt.FIG. 2 shows a side view of how the exhaust air flow, which is again labeled A, enters the space below the first heat exchanger through an air duct 19 behind the heat pump 2 from top to bottom (see arrow A there) , enters the second heat exchanger through the first heat exchanger and is heated there, after which the air flows as a warm air flow W from bottom to top (not visible in FIG. 2) to the openings 13 and enters the interior 10.
Of the numerous openings 13, only the upper row is shown; it goes without saying that further rows are arranged below it.
A door 8 which is closed here can also be seen in FIG. 2, with which the interior 10 can be closed when the drying cabinet 1 is in operation.
A first flap 9 is shown in the air duct 19. The flap 9 is pivotable about a hinge, as shown by a dashed arrow. In the position shown, the flap 9 opens the interior 10 to the air duct 19. In the further course of the air duct 19, a second flap 9 'is arranged, which in the position shown directs the exhaust air flow A to the supply side of the heat pump 2. This way the air circuit inside the drying cabinet 1 is closed.
In an operating mode for simple ventilation, the path for the exhaust air flow A can be opened according to the dashed arrow to a lower air outlet opening 7 and into the environment by pivoting the second flap 9 'upwards. Alternatively, the exhaust air flow according to arrow A 'after switching the flap 9 through an air duct 19' and through a further air outlet opening 7 'can be directed upwards into an air outlet hose (not shown), the further opening also being able to be arranged laterally , which is indicated by the reference number 7 ". The exhaust air flow then enters, according to arrow A", into an air outlet duct to be connected, for example in an exhaust stack. At the same time, in this operating mode of the drying cabinet 1, the supply air openings 4 are opened by pivoting a third flap 9 ". A fresh air stream U from the environment enters the drying cabinet through the supply air openings 4, as indicated by dashed arrows in FIGS. 1 and 2, this air flow U is led downwards through the gap spaces between the intermediate wall 6 and the outer wall 5 to the inflow side of the heat pump 2. In this operating mode, the heat pump 2 is preferably switched off, so that it does not require any energy for its operation now only the operation of a blower is required, this blower preferably being integrated as part of the heat pump 2.
Figur 3 zeigt in einem Blockschaubild die Luft/Luft-Wär¬ mepumpe 2 mit ihrem ersten Wärmetauscher 21 und zweiten Wärmetauscher 22, die über einen Verdichter 15 und ein Drosselorgan 16 miteinander verbunden sind, wobei in dem so geschaffenen Kreislauf ein Kältemittel zirkuliert. dessen Förderung durch den Verdichter 15 erfolgt.FIG. 3 shows a block diagram of the air / air heat pump 2 with its first heat exchanger 21 and second heat exchanger 22, which are connected to one another via a compressor 15 and a throttle element 16, a refrigerant circulating in the circuit thus created. whose promotion is carried out by the compressor 15.
The drying mode of operation in the closed air circuit is shown schematically, the air flow according to arrow A entering the first heat exchanger 21 and being dried and cooled there, and the emerging cold air flow K being conducted through the second heat exchanger 22 and is heated to a warm air flow W therein. The condensate accumulating on the first heat exchanger 2 is collected in a drip tray 18, which can be removed from the drying cabinet for emptying. A blower 14 ensures the movement of the air flow from left to right and also presses it through an electric heater 17, which can be optionally switched on, especially when hot air of more than 100 β C or 121 β C for disinfection or sterilization loading ¬ the drying cabinet is required. The electric heater is preferably a PTC heater. The hot air heated in this way can also be circulated in these operating modes in a closed or in an open circuit, the fan 14 taking care of the circulation and the heat pump remaining switched off.
