Abstract

Les techniques de traitement optimal de signaux qui conviennent aux modèles de système d'état continu et d'état discret sont connues. La présente invention concerne le traitement de signaux dont les caractéristiques ne sont pas exclusives soit du système d'état continu, soit du système d'état discret, mais conviennent uniqement à un modèle d'état mixte, utilisant une approche de retour de décision. Après l'établissement du modèle d'état mixte pertinent, le signal perçu est traité simultanément et en parallèle dans un filtre Kalman (KF) (ou Kalman étendu) et dans un filtre de modèle de Markov caché (HMM). La sortie du filtre Kalman est couplée à une phase du filtre de Markov caché et l'estimation de l'état d'information du filtre de Markov caché est couplée au filtre Kalman. Grâce à cette configuration, l'estimation de signal désirée est dérivée de l'état d'information de la sortie du filtre de Markov caché.
