Abstract

The device proposed for simultaneous confocal-image generation has a mobile apertured screen located in the illuminating-light beam and including a position-measurement system. The device also has a scanning camera and a processing unit for the synchronous read-out of the apertured-screen image points for the camera. The device can be embodied in a microscope or chromatic surface-profile sensor.
