DESIG N FOR CARPET.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 24,565, dated August 18, 1895. Application filed June 26, 1895. Serial No. 654,161- Term oipatent 3% years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, ARTHUR MIDDLETON ROSE, residing at Yonkers, county of fastchester, State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for aPattern to be Wrought into Wilton and other Carpetings in such coloring as may be designed; and I do hereby declare that the drawing accompanying this specification gives and conveys to any one skilled in the art of carpet weaving and manufacture a clear understanding of the same, and is sufficient to enable such person to use my invention.
The design consists of the bodyA and the border B. The body A is decorated with sprays of roses, with ornamental scrolls. The borderBshows similar sprays of rosesand scrolls, with an outer edge of similar work as the scrolls.
What I claim as my invention, and desire 20 to secure by Letters Patent, is
1. In a design for acarpet, the body A, substantially as shown.
2. In a design for a carpet, the border B, substantially as shown.
3. The design for carpets, consisting of the body A, and the border B, substantially as shown.
