To all whom 'it may concern:

Be it known that I, IVILHELM L. GUS- TArsoN, a citizen of the United States, residing at Chicago, in the county of Cook and State of Illinois, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Clothes- Driers; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and u se the same.

This invention relates to clothes driers or forms and more particularly to a device of the kind for drying a variety of garments at once; by the use of this device a shirt or similar garment, a pair of stockings or leggings and a pair of gloves may all be dried at one and the same time; another object is the production of a device of the kind that is simple, efficient and cheap to manufacture.

Vith this and other objects in view the invention consists in the construction, and combination of parts to be hereinafter fiiore fully described in the following specification, pointed out in the claims and illustrated in the accompanying drawings which form a part of said specification.

The accompanying drawing is a front elevation of the device.

. The numeral 2 in the drawings represents the side wires of the body portion of the invention.

3 is the lower cross wire and 4 the upper cross wire, offset as at `5--5 to form a neck shaped portion.

5a is a supporting cross wire connecting side wires 2.

6 is a wire connecting the upper and lower cross wires of the body portion of the device and terminating in a hook 7 at its upper extremity by which the device may be suspended.

A swinging form made in two independent sections and turning pivotally on the central wire 6 and operating within the body portion has its lateral portion 8 made in tegral with the top and bottom portions 10 and 9 respectively. One section of this form operates on one side of supporting wire and the other section on the other side. Either section may be turned to a position at right angles with said supporting wire or may lie against the same as shown in dotted lines.

11 represents a stocking form swinging freely on wire 3 of the body form and terminating in a foot form as shown. This stocking form may be turned back upon the hotly portion when not in use as shown in dotted lines.

12 is a sliding sleeve form, oblong in shape and operating through eyes 13 of the body form.

14 is a hand or Glove form, oblong in shape and open at the relatively inner extremity and slidably secured to sleeve form 12 through the medium of eyes 15 of said form; the fingers of said glove form are made by bending the material back upon itself and then shaping it to accommodate the .finger stalls of the glove.

If a shirt is to be dried on the form the stocking form will, of course, hang down out of the way. The glove form may be drawn inwardly as shown dotted and the body portion of the shirt will be drawn over the body form and the sleeves drawn over the sleeve forms; the sleeve forms can then be slidably extended away from the body form as far as desired. If it is desired to stretch the shirt while -drying or to hasten the drying by air circulation the inner forms may be turned at right angles with supporting wire 5a. Gloves may be dried by drawing the glove forms to their relatively outward position away from the body form and the gloves drawn on over them. Stockings or leggings may be drawn on over their forms.

When not in use the device may be folded up by drawing the glove and sleeve forms together and folding the stocking forms back upon the body form.

Having fully described my invention, what I claim is l. In a clothes drier, a body form having a vertical central member terminating in a hook, a swinging form operating within said body form and pivoted to said central member, a stocking form suitably carried by said body form, a sleeve form slidably arranged on said body form and a glove form slidably carried by said sleeve form.
