Be it known that I, LYNFORD ROWLAND, of the city and county of Philadelphia, and State of Pennsylvania, have invented a vnew and Improved Bail -Ear for Buckets and other Vessels, and I do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, andexact description thereof, which will enable others skilled in' the art to make and use the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part of this speciieation.
The present invention consists in certain` new and useful improvements in bail-ears for buckets, kettles, andother vessels, whereby the ear can be set in such a position upon the sides of the buckets `as to permit the handle to be swung entirely below the top of the same-a result never before accomplished, and the advantage of which is evident-and, moreover,
