IMPROVED FEMALE SUPPORTEVRS.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 34,845, dated April 1, 1862.
To all whom.- L' may concern:
Beitknown that I, ALEXANDER DAMIENs REEVES, of Port-land, in the county of Curnberland, State of Maine, have invented anew and useful Truss or Supporter, for all purposes of both male and female uses, and more especially as a female periodical receptacle; and l hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description of the construction and operation of the same, reference being had to the annexed drawings, which make a part of this specification, in which- Fignre lis a perspective front view. Fig. 2 is a back view. Fig. 3 shows the sack; in all of which the apparatus is fully shown.
In Fig. l, a is a strap around the body. IJ b are straps down the front connect-ing with the sack c, c c (also shown in Fig. 2) connecting with the sack in the rear. dis a perpendicular strap extending from a down to c.
