Abstract
A slide stop lever adapted to be disposed in a gun body, and has a pivoting section adapted to be pivoted to the gun body, and a latching section extending rearwardly from the pivoting section. The latching section has a rod portion extending rearwardly from the pivoting section, a latching portion protruding from the rod portion, and a pushed portion protruding from the rod portion and located lower than a top of the rod portion. The pushed portion is adapted to be pushed upwardly to move the latching section upwardly from an initial position to an abutment position, where the latching portion is adapted to be received in a latching groove of the Glock 43 series slide to prevent forward sliding movement of the Glock 43 series slide.
Description
- This application claims priority to Taiwanese Invention Patent Application No. 111110579, filed on Mar. 22, 2022.
- This disclosure relates to a slide stop lever, and more particularly to a slide stop lever applied to a pistol.
- Glock 43 pistol is a common small gun, and the parts can be disassembled or replaced by the user according to needs. However, if a magazine of another common SIG P 365 pistol is applied to a Glock 43 pistol, an issue that the slide stop lever of the Glock 43 pistol and the magazine of the SIG P 365 pistol cannot match may be generated. Further, the slide stop lever of Glock 43 pistol cannot simultaneously match the SIG P365 magazine and the slide of Glock 43.
- Therefore, an object of the present disclosure is to provide a slide stop lever of Glock 43 pistol that can simultaneously match the SIG P365 magazine and the slide of Glock 43.
- According to the disclosure, a slide stop lever adapted for application to a gun. The gun includes a gun body that has an internal space, a Glock 43 series slide that is slidable in a front-rear direction and that is disposed on a top portion of said gun body, and a SIG P365 magazine that is inserted into the internal space of the gun body from a bottom portion of the gun body. The gun body has an accommodating groove located at the top portion and communicated with the internal space. The Glock 43 series slide has a latching groove at a bottom portion thereof. The SIG P365 magazine includes a magazine body having a bullet space, and a follower disposed in the bullet space, being upwardly and downwardly slidable, and having a pushing part.
- The slide stop lever is adapted to be disposed in the internal space of the gun body, and has a pivoting section adapted to be pivoted to the gun body, and a latching section extending rearwardly from the pivoting section. The latching section has a rod portion extending rearwardly from the pivoting section, a latching portion protruding from the rod portion, and a pushed portion protruding from the rod portion and located lower than a top of the rod portion.
- Pivoting of the pivoting section drives the latching section to swing up and down relative to the gun body between an initial position and an abutment position that is higher than the initial position.
- When the latching section is in the initial position, the latching portion is adapted to be received in the accommodating groove of the gun body.
- The pushed portion is adapted to be pushed upwardly by the pushing part when the follower of the SIG P365 magazine slides upwardly, thereby moving the latching section upwardly from the initial position to the abutment position. When the latching section is in the abutment position, the latching portion is adapted to be received in the latching groove of the Glock 43 series slide to prevent the Glock 43 series slide from sliding forwardly.
- Other features and advantages of the disclosure will become apparent in the following detailed description of the embodiment(s) with reference to the accompanying drawings. It is noted that various features may not be drawn to scale.

FIG. 7 is a schematic side view similar toFIG. 5 , where the bullet of the gun has been fired. - Before the disclosure is described in greater detail, it should be noted that where considered appropriate, reference numerals or terminal portions of reference numerals have been repeated among the figures to indicate corresponding or analogous elements, which may optionally have similar characteristics.
- It should be noted herein that for clarity of description, spatially relative terms such as “top,” “bottom,” “upper,” “lower,” “on,” “above,” “over,” “downwardly,” “upwardly” and the like may be used throughout the disclosure while making reference to the features as illustrated in the drawings. The features may be oriented differently (e.g., rotated 90 degrees or at other orientations) and the spatially relative terms used herein may be interpreted accordingly.
- Referring to
FIGS. 1 to 5 , an embodiment of aslide stop lever 5 of this invention is adapted to be applied to agun 100. Thegun 100 includes a gun body 1, abarrel 2, aGlock 43series slide 3, and aSIG P365 magazine 4. Here,Glock 43 series is not limited toonly Glock 43. For example,Glock 43 series includes a plurality of models such asGlock 43, Glock 43X, and Glock 48. That is, theGlock 43 series slide 3 may be aGlock 43 slide, a Glock 48 slide, or a Glock 43X slide (which is the same as theGlock 43 slide). - The gun body 1 has a
barrel receiving section 11 that extends in a front-rear direction, agrip section 12 that extends downward from a rear portion of thebarrel receiving section 11, aninternal space 13 that is formed in thebarrel receiving section 11 and thegrip section 12, and anaccommodating groove 14 that is formed downwardly at a top side of thebarrel receiving section 11 and that is communicated with theinternal space 13. Thebarrel 2 is disposed at a front end of thebarrel receiving section 11. - The
Glock 43 series slide 3 is disposed on a top portion of thebarrel receiving section 11 of the gun body 1, and is forwardly and rearwardly movable. During the firing of abullet 200, theGlock 43 series slide 3 is pushed rearward by a rear force generated by the firing. Specifically, a first resilient member (not shown) is connected between theGlock 43series slide 3 and the gun body 1. The first resilient member is used for forwardly restoring theGlock 43 series slide 3 relative to the gun body 1 to allow anext bullet 200 to be loaded. TheGlock 43 series slide 3 has a latchinggroove 31 disposed at a bottom side thereof and corresponding to theaccommodating groove 14. - The
SIG P365 magazine 4 is inserted into aninternal space 13 of the gun body 1 from a bottom portion of thegrip section 12 of the gun body 1. It should be noted herein that, the gun body 1 may be exemplified as aGlock 43 series gun body, with the shape of thegrip section 12 being modified to fit with theSIG P365 magazine 4. TheSIG P365 magazine 4 includes amagazine body 41 having abullet space 411, afollower 42 disposed in thebullet space 411, being upwardly and downwardly movable, and having a pushingpart 421, and a secondresilient member 43 connected between themagazine body 41 and thefollower 42. The secondresilient member 43 is used for returning thefollower 42 upwardly to push thebullet 200 inside thebullet space 411. - The
slide stop lever 5 is disposed in theinternal space 13 of the gun body 1. Theslide stop lever 5 has apivoting section 51 pivoted to thebarrel receiving section 11 of the gun body 1 about a pivot pole (not shown), a latchingsection 52 extending rearwardly from the pivotingsection 51, and a mountingsection 53 extending forwardly from the pivotingsection 51 and mounted with a thirdresilient member 54. The thirdresilient member 54 is used to abut downwardly against an abutment structure (not shown) in theinternal space 13 of the gun body 1 for driving thelatching section 52 to swing downwardly. The latchingsection 52 has arod portion 521 extending rearwardly from the pivotingsection 51, a latchingportion 522 protruding outwardly from therod portion 521, an operatingportion 523 disposed at an end of the latchingportion 522 and extending downwardly, and a pushedportion 524 protruding inwardly from therod portion 521 and located lower than a top of therod portion 521. To further be specific, in this embodiment, therod portion 521 of the latchingsection 52 of theslide stop lever 5 is plate-shaped, and has atop end 521 a and abottom end 521 b. The pushedportion 524 is formed integrally with thebottom end 521 b of therod portion 521. However, it should be noted that, in other embodiments, therod portion 521 may be other structures other than a plate-shaped structure, such as a columnar structure. The pushedportion 524 may also be non-integrally formed with therod portion 521 at any position lower than the top of therod portion 521 and is not limited to this embodiment. - Referring to
FIGS. 2 and 4-7 , pivoting of the pivotingsection 51 drives the latchingsection 52 to swing up and down relative to the gun body 1 between an initial position (seeFIGS. 4 and 5 ) and an abutment position (seeFIGS. 6 and 7 ). As shown inFIGS. 4 and 5 , thebullet space 411 of theSIG P365 magazine 4 is filled with a plurality of thebullets 200. The latchingportion 522 is received in theaccommodating groove 14 of the gun body 1 when the latchingsection 52 is in the initial position. As shown inFIGS. 6 and 7 , after the last one of thebullets 200 within thebullet space 411 of theSIG P365 magazine 4 is fired, thefollower 42 of theSIG P365 magazine 4 moves upward to the top of themagazine body 41, and the pushingpart 421 of thefollower 42 of theSIG P365 magazine 4 is exposed from the top of themagazine body 41. At this time, the pushedportion 524 is pushed upwardly by the pushingpart 421 of thefollower 42 of theSIG P365 magazine 4 to move upward from the initial position to the abutment position. When the latchingsection 52 is in the abutment position, the latchingportion 522 can be received in the latchinggroove 31 of theGlock 43 series slide 3 as theGlock 43 series slide 3 slides rearwardly due to the rear force, thereby preventing theGlock 43 series slide 3 from sliding forwardly. Thereafter, the user can re-fill theSIG P365 magazine 4 withbullets 200 and push theoperating portion 523 of theslide stop lever 5 to release theGlock 43series slide 3 and to load thenext bullet 200. - In summary, the pushed
portion 524 of theslide stop lever 5 of this invention is located lower than the top of therod portion 521 to be pushed by the pushingpart 421 of theSIG P365 magazine 4, so as to match theSIG P365 magazine 4 to each other. Further specifically, theslide stop lever 5 of this invention can simultaneously match theSIG P365 magazine 4 and theGlock 43series slide 3. - In the description above, for the purposes of explanation, numerous specific details have been set forth in order to provide a thorough understanding of the embodiment(s). Claims (2)
1. A slide stop lever adapted for application to a gun, the gun including a gun body that has an internal space, a Glock 43 series slide that is slidable in a front-rear direction and that is disposed on a top portion of the gun body, and a SIG P365 magazine that is inserted into the internal space of the gun body from a bottom portion of the gun body, the gun body having an accommodating groove that is located at the top portion and that is communicated with the internal space, the Glock 43 series slide having a latching groove at a bottom portion thereof, the SIG P365 magazine including a magazine body that has a bullet space, and a follower that is disposed in the bullet space, that is upwardly and downwardly slidable, and that has a pushing part;
said slide stop lever being adapted to be disposed in the internal space of the gun body, and comprising:
a pivoting section adapted to be pivoted to the gun body; and
a latching section extending rearwardly from said pivoting section, said latching section having a rod portion that extends rearwardly from said pivoting section, a latching portion that protrudes from said rod portion, and a pushed portion that protrudes from said rod portion and that is located lower than a top of said rod portion;
wherein pivoting of said pivoting section drives said latching section to swing up and down relative to said gun body between an initial position and an abutment position higher than said initial position;
wherein, when said latching section is in said initial position, said latching portion is adapted to be received in the accommodating groove of the gun body;
wherein said pushed portion is adapted to be pushed upwardly by the pushing part when the follower of the SIG P365 magazine slides upwardly, thereby moving said latching section upwardly from said initial position to said abutment position; and
wherein, when said latching section is in said abutment position, said latching portion is adapted to be received in the latching groove of the Glock 43 series slide to prevent the Glock 43 series slide from sliding forwardly.
2. The slide stop lever as claimed in claim 1 , wherein said rod portion of said latching section is plate-shaped, and has a top end and a bottom end, said pushed portion being integrally formed with said bottom end of said rod portion.
