  • DETAILED DESCRIPTIONS OF THE INVENTION
  • All illustrations of the drawings are for the purpose of describing selected versions of the present invention and are not intended to limit the scope of the present invention.
  • The present invention provides a teddy bear that teaches morning and evening dua and athkar (prayers). The present invention is unique because it is the only teddy bear that teaches prayer to Muslim children. The present invention plays back pre-recorded and hardcoded certain Islamic supplications and athkars (dua) for morning and evening times.
  • As can be seen in FIGS. 1-3 , the present invention provides a plush teddy bear 100 that is sitting in a Muslim supplication prayer position with the hands (paws) 25 having a palm 26 facing up.
  • The present invention may comprise a head 10, a torso 20, a pair of arms 27, a pair of hands 25, a pair of legs 30, and a pair of feet 35.
  • The torso 20 can be attached to the head 10 and the torso 20 may include: a power source 40, at least one control module 60 connected to the power source 40, one or more speakers 50 connected to the at least one control module 60, as shown in FIG. 4 .
  • The pair of arms 27 can be attached to the torso 20. The arms 27 can be extending forward from the torso 20.
  • The pair of hands 25 can be attached to the arms 27. The hands 25 may include a palm 26 facing upwards towards the head 10. The palm 26 may include at least one button 45 communicatively/wire connected to the at least one control module 60, where the button 45, when depressed, sends electronic signals to at least one control module 60, where at least one control module 60 is capable of processing the electronic signals from the button 45 and sending the electronic signals to the speaker 50 to cause the speaker 50 to emit sound.
  • In one embodiment, the pair of hands 25 are a right hand 25 a and a left hand 25 b attached to the torso 20 of the plush teddy bear 100, wherein the right hand 25 a include a right palm 26 a and the left hand 25 b includes a left palm 26 b. Further, the right palm 26 a may include at least one right button 45 a and the left palm 26 b may include at least one left button 45 b. • The buttons 45 a, 45 b can be configured to go back to their original positions when the user releases the buttons 45 a, 45 b from the depressed position. The sound (the first sound or the second sound) may continue even after the user releases the buttons 45 a, 45 b from the depressed position. If the buttons 45 a, 45 b are depressed again while the speaker 50 is playing, the sound may stop. For example, when the right button 45 a is depressed while the speaker 50 is playing the first sound, the first sound will stop. When the left button 45 b is depressed while the speaker 50 is playing the second sound, the second sound will stop.
  • Buttons 45 a, 45 b then will go back to their original positions when the user releases the buttons 45 a, 45 b. When the right button 45 a is depressed again after the first sound is stopped, the first sound will resume playing from where the first sound left off. When the left button 45 b is depressed again after the second sound is stopped, the second sound will resume playing from where the second sound left off.
  • The first sound can be morning Islamic dua and athkar (prayers) emitted when the right button 45 a is pressed and the second sound can be evening Islamic dua and athkar (prayers) emitted when the left button 45 b is pressed.
  • Further, when the left button 45 b and the right button 45 a are depressed together, the left button 45 b and the right button 45 a may send electronic signals to at least one control module 60, where at least one control module 60 is capable of processing the electronic signals from the left button 45 b and the right button 45 a and sending the electronic signals to the one more speakers 50 to cause the one or more speakers 50 to emit a third sound that is a pre-recorded sound other than the morning Islamic dua and athkar (prayers) and the evening Islamic dua and athkar (prayers).
  • In some embodiments, the third sound can be the same as the first sound. In some other embodiments, the third sound can be the same as the second sound.
  • The control modules 60 are used to manage the sounds produced by the present invention. In some embodiments, the control modules 60 may base their response on a pre-programmed parameters and real-time input from the buttons 45 (e.g., 45 a. and 45 b).
