  • BACKGROUND
  • The existing foldable storage box includes a plurality of side walls and a bottom wall connected to the plurality of side walls. In order to facilitate folding, the plurality of side walls are designed with equal width, a film hinge is used between any two adjacent of the plurality of side walls, and the bottom wall is made of a flexible material. Therefore, for such a foldable storage box, a user can only take out and place items through an upper opening of the foldable storage box. Although the bottom wall can be folded together with the side walls and sandwiched between the superimposed side walls during folding, the folded form is difficult to control, and the bottom wall is in a swollen form after being folded, resulting in irregular form and large thickness of the folded storage box. This is not conducive to storage or reduction of shipping volume.

  • In the foldable storage box of the present application, since the first zipper is detachably connected to the pair of vertical edges and the pair of bottom edges, a user can join the pair of vertical edges and the pair of bottom edges of box body components by sliding a slider of the first zipper to close the first zipper, so that the foldable storage box is brought into a joined state, that is, forming a storage chamber. On the contrary, in order to enlarge the angle of taking out and placing items or take out and place items in more ways, the user separates the pair of vertical edges by sliding the slider of the first zipper or separates both the pair of vertical edges and the pair of bottom edges to fold the storage box, so as to facilitate folding of the box body components. For example, the box body components can be rotatably connected to each other, and each sub-bottom wall can be folded between respective side walls. That is to say, like the traditional storage box, the items to be stored can be placed through the opening of the upper end of the foldable storage box in the joined state. In addition, the user of the foldable storage box of the present application can also separate the pair of vertical edges or the pair of bottom edges by sliding the slider of the first zipper, and take out and place the items through an opening formed by the separated pair of vertical edges or of bottom edges. • When the foldable storage box of the present application is in an empty state, the user can choose to disassemble the foldable storage box and then fold same. Specifically, by sliding the slider of the first zipper in the direction approaching the back stop, the foldable storage box is released from the joined state when the slider is slide to a position adjacent to the back stop, that is, the pairs of vertical edges and the pair of bottom edges are separated, and the box body components are free to rotate relative to each other. In addition, at this moment, the box body components are connected by the back stop. On the one hand, the adjacent box body components can not only be folded around the back stop, but also be twisted relative to each other, which is more convenient to position the respective side walls thereof. On the other hand, since the box body components cannot be completely separated from each other, the user does not need to worry about the loss of some of the box body components.
  • Furthermore, the bottom wall of the foldable storage box of the present application is formed by joining a plurality of sub-bottom walls, the sub-bottom walls are made of a flexible material in the present application, and the sub-bottom walls may be directly placed or placed between two different side walls after being folded. • DETAILED DESCRIPTION
  • The technical schemes in the embodiments of the present application are clearly and completely described in the following with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present application. It is obvious that the described embodiments are only some of the embodiments of the present application and are not all the embodiments. All other embodiments obtained by those of ordinary skill in the art based on the embodiments of the present application without inventive effort are within the scope of the present application.
  • A foldable storage box disclosed in the present application includes a plurality of box body components and several first zippers. Each box body component includes several side walls and a sub-bottom wall. Each side wall includes a bottom edge and two side edges connected to two ends of the bottom edge.
  • The sub-bottom wall of each box body component is flexible and is connected to the bottom edge of a respective side wall.
  • Each of the first zippers includes a slider, a back stop and two zipper sides, the back stop is fixedly connected to back ends of the two zipper sides, and the slider is slidably connected to the two zipper sides.
  • In a joined state of the foldable storage box,
  • a) the box body components are joined by the several first zippers to form a storage chamber;
  • b) in a circumferential direction about a vertical direction, a pair of vertical edges joined to each other is formed between every two adjacent side walls that belong to the different box body components;
  • c) several pairs of bottom edges joined to each other are formed between pairs of adjacent sub-bottom walls that belong to the different box body components, and each pair of bottom edges is connected end-to-end to an adjacent pair of vertical edges; and
  • d) the two zipper sides of each first zipper are respectively connected to two sides of the pair of vertical edges and the pair of bottom edges that are connected end-to-end, and the back stop of the first zipper is fixedly connected to the corresponding pair of vertical edges or of bottom edges.
  • In a folded state of the foldable storage box, the side walls of each of the box body components are attached to each other, and the sub-bottom wall of each of the box body components are sandwiched between the side walls thereof.
  • With the implementation of the scheme of the present application, the side walls of the box body components have a certain support strength, so that in the joined state of the foldable storage box, the foldable storage box will not collapse. Specifically, each side wall may include a sheet, a wrapping edge and an elastic skeleton. The wrapping edge is wrapped around the edge of the sheet and is fixedly connected to the edge of the sheet, an annular mounting channel is formed in the wrapping edge, and the elastic skeleton is annular and is located in the mounting channel.
  • Unlike the specific embodiment in which the side wall is provided with an elastic skeleton, it is not necessary for the sub-bottom wall to be provided with an elastic skeleton due to the need for convenient folding. In other words, the sub-bottom wall is flexible, so that it can be folded by itself, facilitating the folding operation of the foldable storage box.
  • It can be understood that, although the sub-bottom wall is located at the bottom of the storage chamber in general use scenarios, in some other use scenarios, the foldable storage box of the present application may also be used upside down, and the sub-bottom wall is located at the top of the storage chamber in this case.
  • The box body components are connected to each other via the back stop, ensuring that the box body components are not separated and hinged to each other. That is, the two box body components connected to the back stop can freely rotate about the back stop and folded. The first zipper is used to detachably connect the pair of vertical edges and the pair of bottom edges between the box body components to form the storage chamber.
  • In the prior art, the side walls of the storage box are connected to each other via a film hinge, and the side wall and the bottom wall are detachably connected to each other via a zipper. Therefore, firstly, the position where the items are taken out is limited to the opening in the upper portion of the storage box; secondly, in order to facilitate the transportation or storage of the storage box, the bottom wall needs to be detached separately, but the corresponding detachment path is ring-shaped, so that when the storage box itself is large in volume, and the detachment operation is more difficult; and thirdly, since the bottom wall is not foldable and the shape of the bottom wall does not match the shape of the side walls, the bottom wall cannot be completely received between the superimposed side walls.
This allows the items in the middle or at the bottom of the storage chamber to be taken out more conveniently, thereby providing convenience for the user.
  • In addition, for the storage box in the prior art, in order to expand the volume thereof, the size of the bottom wall is usually larger than that of the side wall. If the size of the bottom wall is larger than that of the side wall, the swollen degree after folding will be further aggravated, which is not conducive to the development of the foldable storage box in the direction of larger volume. The bottom wall of the foldable storage box of the present application is formed by joining a plurality of sub-bottom walls, the sub-bottom walls are made of a flexible material in the present application, and the sub-bottom walls may be directly placed or placed between two different side walls after being folded. Therefore, in general, the bottom wall of the foldable storage box of the present application is easier to store and less likely to form a swollen structure. The folded form of the foldable storage box of the present application then has a more organized form and a smaller thickness, which is convenient for storage and transportation.
  • Embodiment I
  • As shown in FIG. 1 , a foldable storage box 10 includes two box body components 11. Each box body component 11 includes two side walls 17, a flexible sub-bottom wall 18, and a flexible sub-top wall 19. The sub-bottom wall 18 and the sub-top wall 19 are substantially triangular in shape. The sub-bottom wall 18 can be folded in half along an altitude perpendicular to a pair of bottom edges 14, and is sandwiched between the two adjacent side walls 17 in a folded state of the box body component 11. Two box body components 11 are joined by a first zipper 12.
  • A user slides the slider of the first zipper 12 to enable the joining of two pairs of vertical edges 13, the pair of bottom edges 14 and a pair of top edges 15, that is, to complete the joining and detachment between the box body components 11. In a joined state of the foldable storage box 10, the sub-top walls 19 are joined to form a top wall of a storage chamber, the sub-bottom wall 18 are joined to form a bottom wall of the storage chamber, and the side walls 17 are connected to one another to form four walls of the storage chamber in a circumferential direction about the vertical direction, thereby forming a sealed storage chamber to wrap stored items on all sides. In the folded state of the foldable storage box 10, the sub-bottom walls 18 and the sub-top walls 19, which are separated from each other, can be folded and stored between respective side walls 17.
  • In this embodiment, since the first zipper 12 is detachably connected to the pairs of vertical edges 13, the pair of bottom edges 14 and the pair of top edges 15, the user can join the two pairs of vertical edges 13, the pair of bottom edges 14 and the pair of top edges 15 of the two box body components 11 by sliding the slider 124 of the first zipper 12 to close the first zipper 12, so that the foldable storage box 10 is brought into the joined state, that is, forming the storage chamber. When an operation is to be performed in the storage chamber, the slider 124 of the first zipper 12 is slide to separate part of the pair of top edges 15 or to separate the pair of top edges 15 and part of the pair of vertical edges 13 to form an opening, through which items to be stored can be placed and taken out. When the foldable storage box 10 is in an empty state, the user can choose to disassemble the foldable storage box 10 and then fold same. Specifically, by sliding the slider 124 of the first zipper 12 in the counterclockwise direction of FIG. 1 , the foldable storage box is released from the joined state when the slider 124 is slide to a position adjacent to a back stop 121, that is, the pairs of vertical edges 13, the pair of bottom edges 14, and the pair of top edges 15 are separated, and the box body components 11 are free to rotate relative to each other. In addition, at this moment, the box body components 11 are connected by the back stop 121. On the one hand, the adjacent box body components 11 can not only be folded around the back stop 121, but also be twisted relative to each other, which is more convenient to position the respective side walls 17 thereof. On the other hand, since the box body components 11 cannot be completely separated from each other, the user does not need to worry about the loss of some of the box body components 11. It can be understood that the top wall formed by joining the sub-top walls 19 is not necessary, and the sub-top wall 19 of each box body component 11 can be omitted on the basis of this embodiment, so as to form a storage chamber in communication with the outside through an opening.
  • The bottom wall of the foldable storage box 10 of the present application is formed by joining a plurality of sub-bottom walls 18, the sub-bottom walls 18 are made of a flexible material in the present application, and the sub-bottom walls 18 may be directly placed or placed between two different side walls 17 after being folded. Therefore, in general, the bottom wall of the foldable storage box of the present application is easier to store and less likely to form a swollen structure. The folded form of the foldable storage box 10 of the present application then has a more organized form and a smaller thickness, which is convenient for storage and transportation.
  • Embodiment II
  • As shown in FIG. 2 , a foldable storage box 20 includes a pair of bottom edges, two pairs of vertical edges and a first zipper 22. Like Embodiment I, when the user assembles the foldable storage box 20 in the folded state, a first zipper side 27 and a second zipper side 28 can be joined only by closing the first zipper 22, and the box body components 21 on two sides of the two zipper sides (27, 28) can then be assembled without separately joining the bottom wall or the side wall of the storage chamber, so that the process of joining the foldable storage box 20 and the process of folding the foldable storage box are simplified.
  • On the basis of the concept of this embodiment, in a scheme including a plurality of first zippers 22, those skilled in the art may appreciate that two ends of at least one pair of bottom edges of the foldable storage box 20 are respectively connected to two pairs of vertical edges, and the back stop 26 of the first zipper 22 corresponding to the pair of bottom edges is fixedly connected to the upper end of one of the pairs of vertical edges.
  • Embodiment III
  • As shown in FIG. 3 , a foldable storage box 30 includes four box body components 31, one first long zipper 32 and two first short zippers 33. Compared with Embodiment II, the side walls 313 are connected to each other via the first short zipper 33 instead of via the film hinge in Embodiment II. A first long zipper side 322 and a second long zipper side 323 of the first long zipper 32 are both joined to a pair of horizontal edges and two pairs of vertical edges between two box body components 31. A first short zipper side 332 and a second short zipper side 333 of the first short zipper 33 are respectively arranged on the side edges of the side walls 313 and the sub-bottom walls 314 of adjacent box body components 31. The back stop 331 of the first short zipper 33 is located near a center of the first long zipper 32 over the edge of the sub-bottom wall 314. In this embodiment, the box body components 31 adjacent to the first short zipper 33 can be rotated about the center and folded, while the two box body components 31 adjacent to the first long zipper 32 can be rotated about the back stop 321 of the first long zipper 32 and folded. When folding and storing the foldable storage box 30, the side walls 313 can be folded in pairs to each other, and the folding effect is more organized than that of the scheme in Embodiment II.
  • On the basis of the concept of this embodiment, there also may be three, five and more box body components 31 of the foldable storage box 30, and the number of first zippers is one less than the number of box body components. The plurality of first zippers are divided into divided into a longer first long zipper 32 and shorter first short zippers 33 according to different lengths. In the joined state of the foldable storage box, the two ends of the pair of bottom edges corresponding to the first long zipper are respectively connected to two pairs of vertical edges, and the back stop of the first long zipper 32 is fixedly connected to the upper end of one of the pairs of vertical edges; and the back stop of each first short zipper 33 is located on the corresponding pair of bottom edges and close to a center of the pair of bottom edges corresponding to the first long zipper 32.
