It is not an admission that any of the information provided herein is prior art, or material, to the presently described or claimed inventions, or that any publication or document that is specifically or implicitly referenced is prior art.
  • 1. Field of the Invention
  • The present invention relates generally to the field of beverage containers and more specifically relates to a travel beverage container system.
  • 2. Description of Related Art
  • Travel mugs generally employ thermal insulation properties for transporting hot or cold liquids. Similar to a vacuum flask, a travel mug is usually well-insulated and completely enclosed to prevent spillage or leaking, but will generally have an opening in the cover through which the contents can be consumed during transportation without spillage. Usually stainless steel will be used for the inner wall while outer wall can be stainless steel, plastic, or even embedded with other materials.
  • Several attempts have been made to solve the above-mentioned problems such as those found in U.S. Pub. No. 2004/0157527 to Ruupak Omar; 2015/0360816 to Ching-Tien Chen and U.S. Pat. No. 6,601,703 to John Scott Jones; U.S. Pat. No. 7,866,073 to Richard L. Dunlap; and U.S. Pat. No. 7,900,384 to Gary W. Schnuckle. This art is representative of beverage containers. However, none of the above inventions and patents, taken either singly or in combination, is seen to describe the invention as claimed.
  • Preferably, a beverage container should provide an efficient container for liquids and, yet would operate reliably and be manufactured at a modest expense. Thus, a need exists for a reliable travel beverage container system to avoid the above-mentioned problems.

The lid closes and contains a top end of the inner volume and contents of the inner volume. The lid comprises an opening such that a user may consume the contents of the beverage container. The gripping member allows a user grip and transport the beverage container and contents of the beverage container. The gripping member comprises a handle. The outer surface forming a 3D facial impression comprises an angry face. The outer surface forming a 3D facial impression comprises an angry face of a person. The outer surface forming a 3D facial impression acts as a location for a user to grip the beverage container.
  • The protruding outer surface forming a 3D facial impression allows the user to better grip the beverage container. The protruding outer surface forming a 3D facial impression provides added weight for increased stability of the beverage container. The travel beverage container system is useful for providing a user with a portable drinking container with a novel 3-D molded face for entertainment. The protruding outer surface forming a 3D facial impression creates an emotional response from the user. The travel beverage container system further provides a visual means to readily recognize ownership of the beverage container.
