Abstract
A spill proof denture container for protecting a denture from environment pollution and microorganisms is provided. The spill proof denture container includes a lid with internal threads in the inner side, a lower portion with external threads, and a retractable strainer with holes. The lid is adapted to open and close the spill proof denture container. The internal threads of the lid screw over the external threads of the lower portion to close the spill proof denture container. The retractable strainer includes a handle to withdraw from or place back the retractable strainer to the lower portion of the spill proof denture container. When the retractable strainer is removed out from the lower portion, the tiny holes allow proper drainage of liquid from the retractable strainer to the lower portion of the spill proof denture container.
Description
- The embodiments herein generally relate a container, and, more particularly to a spill proof denture container.
- The old age people mostly rely on dental appliances like dentures, retainer, and mouth guards. The dental appliances are required to be kept free of microorganisms/environmental pollutions. The dental appliances are required to be cleaned on regular basis is a good practice. When the dental appliances are not in use, the dental appliances are required to be kept in a liquid inside a container to keep it germ free.
- There are many containers in the market sold at high prices. The containers are made of low grade plastic, this leads to the breaking of the container. The other major problem in most of the present containers is the leakage and spillage. The containers open up when kept in the purse, bag or alike. This leads to the hygiene problems and sometimes damage to the dental appliances.
- The present invention provides a better solution to the above mentioned problems, by providing a cheap and easy to carry, compact, spill and leak proof container.
- In view of the foregoing, an embodiment herein provides a spill proof dental appliance container for protecting a dental appliance such as dentures from dust, environment pollution and microorganisms. The spill proof dental appliance container includes a lid, a lower portion, and a retractable strainer with holes. The lid includes one or more internal threads in the inner side of the lid. The lower portion with one or more external threads on a top of the lower portion. The lid is adapted to open and close the spill proof denture container. The one or more internal threads of the lid screws over the one or more external threads of the lower portion to close the spill proof denture container. The lid is adapted to lock with the lower portion of the spill proof denture container. The retractable strainer includes a handle to withdraw from or place back the retractable strainer to the lower portion of the spill proof denture container.
- When the retractable strainer is removed out from the lower portion of the spill proof denture container, the tiny holes allow proper drainage of liquid from the retractable strainer to the lower portion of the spill proof denture container. In another embodiment, the lid is in dome shape for easy opening and closing of the spill proof denture container. In yet another embodiment, the color of the spill proof denture container is fluorescent for easy visibility to one or more users.
- These and other aspects of the embodiments herein will be better appreciated and understood when considered in conjunction with the following description and the accompanying drawings. It should be understood, however, that the following descriptions, while indicating preferred embodiments and numerous specific details thereof, are given by way of illustration and not of limitation.
