Description

    TECHNICAL FIELD
  • The present invention relates to a screen golf system and a method of displaying a striking state and, more particularly, to a screen golf system in which impact sensors located near a golf ball sense a position where the golf club of a golf player strikes a blow against the ground and strike force exerted to the ground when the golf player swings and the detected position and strike force are outputted in order for the golf player to see the detected position and strike force so that information about a striking state necessary to embody various ball diversion techniques can be provided to the golf player.
  • BACKGROUND ART
  • A screen golf system is recently being commercialized which provides an indoor environment similar to a field golf course environment and enables a golf player to have an effect of striking or putting a golf ball in a real field golf course.
  • In this screen golf system, in the state in which information about a surrounding environment similar to a real field golf course is projected and displayed on a large-sized screen installed indoors, a golf player selects a golf club for striking a golf ball and strikes or puts the golf ball placed on the ground toward the screen.
  • When the golf player hits or putts the golf ball as described above, a main computer detects a club head swung by the golf player and a golf ball flown by the hit through a plurality of sensors, analyzes a result of the swing based on the detected club head and the detected golf ball, and displays the speed, direction, and escape angle of the golf ball flown by the hit, the track of the club head, and so on according to a result of the analysis.
  • It is however difficult to correct a swing motion by using the conventional screen golf system because a strike position or force when a golf club does not hit a golf ball correctly, but hits the ground, such as a shot to hit the ground behind the golf ball, is not displayed when the golf player hits a golf ball placed at a designated position of the ground by using a golf club.
  • Accordingly, in order for a golf player to make ball diversion techniques, such as a shot to hit the ground behind the golf ball, a topping shot, a good shot, and a back spin shot according to a swing motion in a screen golf system, there is a need for technology capable of providing a golf player with information about a striking state, such as a strike position or force according to the hit of a golf club.

  • Furthermore, the strike position sensor comprises an impact prevention plate for absorbing or preventing an impact generated when the golf club hits the golf ball and the ground near the golf ball.
  • Furthermore, one or more sensors for sensing the strike position according to the hit of the golf club are disposed in the strike position sensor at constant intervals.
  • Furthermore, the output device comprises one or more specific output units for outputting one or more strike positions. Here, the specific output unit comprises an LED or a lamp
  • Furthermore, the output device outputs the strike force at different colors depending on the striking force through the one or more specific output units.
  • Furthermore, the output device comprises one or more specific output units for outputting the strike force stepwise according to a degree of the striking force.
  • Furthermore, the screen golf system further includes an amp board for amplifying the strike position signal outputted from the strike position sensor and the strike force signal outputted from the strike force sensor and transferring the amplified signals to the output device.
  • Furthermore, the screen golf system .further includes a main computer for receiving the strike position signal outputted from the strike position sensor and the strike force signal outputted from the strike force sensor, processing the received signals into digital data, and storing the digital data or transferring the digital data to the output device so that the strike position and the strike force are outputted.
  • Furthermore, the main computer receives information about the golf player, matches a strike position and strike force, generated whenever the golf player performs striking by using the golf club, with the information about the golf player, accumulates and stores pieces of the matched information, and subsequently provides the pieces of accumulated and stored information about striking states for the golf player at a request of the golf player.
  • Meanwhile, in order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides a method of displaying a striking state in a screen golf system using a strike position sensor and a strike force sensor when a golf player hits a golf ball by using a golf club, including the steps of (a) transferring strike force according to the hit of the golf club against the golf ball and the ground near the golf ball, resulting from a swing motion of the golf player, to a strike position sensor and a strike force sensor; (b) the strike position sensor and the strike force sensor generating a strike position signal and a strike force signal of the golf club; (c) transferring the generated strike position signal and the generated strike force signal to an output device; and (d) the output device outputting a strike position and the strike force of the golf club.
  • Furthermore, the step (c) includes a main computer processing the generated strike position signal and the generated strike force signal into digital data and storing the digital data or transferring the digital data to the output device.
  • Furthermore, the main computer receives information about the golf player, matches the generated strike position and strike force with the information about the golf player, accumulates and stores pieces of the matched information, and subsequently provides the pieces of accumulated and stored information about striking states for the golf player at a request of the golf player.
  • Advantageous Effects
  • In accordance with the present invention, information about a striking state which is necessary for a golf player to make various ball diversion techniques in a screen golf system can be provided to a golf player.
  • Accordingly, a golf player can correct its own swing motion based on information about a striking state and control the strike position of a club based on the corrected swing motion.

  • Next, the strike position sensor 210 and the strike force sensor 220 generate a strike position signal and a strike force signal for the golf club (S420).
  • Next, the strike position signal and the strike force signal generated from the strike position sensor 210 and the strike force sensor 220 are transferred to the output device 130 (S430).
  • Here, the main computer 120 processes the strike position signal and the strike force signal into digital data and stores the digital data or transfers the digital data to the output device 130.
  • Furthermore, the main computer 120 may receive information about the golf player, match the strike position and the strike force with the information about the golf player, accumulate and store pieces of the matched information, and subsequently provide the pieces of accumulated and stored information about striking states for the golf player at the request of the golf player.
  • Next, the output device 130 outputs strike position and the strike force of the golf club (S440). For example, the output device 130 outputs the club strike position of the golf player by turning on. LEDs, lamps, etc. and also outputs the strike force in the form of turn-on color.
  • Accordingly, a golf player can correctly check the strike position and strike force of a golf club after hitting a golf ball by using the golf club and thus correct a striking stance by applying the checked results to a next striking motion.
  • As described above, in accordance with the present invention, a screen golf system and method having a striking state output function, wherein impact sensors located near a golf ball sense a position where the golf club of a golf player strikes a blow against the ground and strike force exerted to the ground when the golf player swings and the detected position and strike force are outputted in order for the golf player to see the detected position and strike force so that information about a striking state necessary to embody various ball diversion techniques can be provided to the golf player.
