Abstract
A rail-type support device is provided, which is mounted at a rear surface of a display, for wiring and installing a host of a micro-computer or a TV box. The rail-type support device has a main support seat mounted at the rear surface of the display and provided with a set of slide rail, such that a carrier seat previously mounted with a micro-computer or a TV box can slide into the slide rail. The various wires and electronic devices connected at the rear surface of the display can be regularly arranged by the present invention, thereby solving the problem of wiring and arrangement of the electronic devices at the rear surface of the display.
Description
- 1. Field of the Invention
- The present invention relates to a rail-type support device mainly mounted at a rear surface of a display to regularly arrange wires and electronic devices connected at the rear surface of the display, and more particularly to a rail-type support device for mounting with rails.
- 2. Related Art
- Display is an electronic device on which dynamic and static images can be displayed. Now, the display is quite widely used, such as, a liquid crystal display (LCD) used with a computer host, an LCD for a TV set, and an LCD for a plasma television, which mainly serves functions effectively displaying the dynamic and static images, and providing most vividly and comfortable visual experience for the viewers. At present, the installation of the display in the market can be substantially divided into desktop, wall mounted, and suspended displays, among them, the desktop display is provided with a seat for supporting the display to be placed on a desk or a plane. Furthermore, the wall mounted and suspended displays have a support bracket mounted at the rear surface of them, and is correspondingly mounted depending on the intended suspension position. For example, the wall mounted display is mounted on a relative support bracket previously mounted on a wall by the support bracket arranged at the rear surface of the display beforehand. For the suspended display, the support bracket is provided with a long support bar having one end secured to a ceiling or a wall of a cantilever. Though the mounting means above can efficiently secure the display as required, after the installation of the whole display, the wires behind the display droop arbitrarily, that is, the conventional support bracket cannot further provide the accommodation of the wires. Furthermore, the digital television has gradually spread in the consumption market recently, and the mated devices, such as computer host and digital TV box, can only be positioned at another position after being connected with the connection wire during installation. As such, too much and long connection wire will lead to the mess in the mounting space due to the prolonged connection wire required in connection, and the mated device such as computer host and digital TV box will also require another space to be placed. Therefore, inconvenience exists in practical installation and use.
- The present invention is directed to a rail-type support device which has wiring function and also can carrier an electronic device to ensure the regularity of a rear surface of the display.
- As embodied and broadly described herein, the present invention improves a main support seat mounted at the rear surface of a display by further integrating rails for mounting a carrier seat therein. Furthermore, the rails can be selectively arranged at the upper edge, the lower edge, and the inner plane of the main support seat as required, so as to effectively improve the wiring effect, and efficiently secure the related electronic device used.
- In order to make the structures, mounting, and effect of embodiments of the present invention more comprehensible, the embodiments of the present invention are described below with reference to the accompanying drawings.
- The present invention will become more filly understood from the detailed description given herein below for illustration only, and thus are not limitative of the present invention, and wherein:

FIG. 7 shows a still another preferable embodiment of the present invention. - Referring to
FIG. 1 , a three-dimensional view of an appearance of the present invention is shown. As shown, a rail-type support device 10 of the present invention mainly includes amain support seat 101, arail 102, and acarrier seat 103. Themain support seat 101 is formed with amain plane portion 1011, and two edges of themain plane portion 1011 are respectively bent to form afirst baffle 1012 and asecond baffle 1013. Furthermore, thefirst baffle 1012 and thesecond baffle 1013 have more than one bolt hole (10121, 10131) formed on the planes thereof. Referring back toFIG. 1 for themain support seat 101, the edges of thefirst baffle 1012 and thesecond baffle 1013 are further bent to form afirst rim 10122 and asecond rim 10132 respectively. The body of therail 102 is substantially L-shaped or U-shaped, and provided with afirst rail part 1021. Thefirst rail part 1021 has asecond rail part 1022 and athird rail part 1023 respectively formed at two edges. Moreover, more than one through hole (not shown), preferably long through hole, is formed on the plane of thefirst rail part 1021. Referring back toFIG. 1 , the substantially L-shaped carrier seat 103 is formed with arelative rail part 1031, and has its edge bent to form acarrier portion 1032. A plurality of through holes (1033, 1034) andwiring portions 1035 are formed on the plane of thecarrier portion 1032 as required. - Referring to
FIG. 2 , a first schematic view of an embodiment according to the present invention is shown. As shown, adisplay 20 can be a computer display, a liquid crystal television, or a plasma television. A set ofhook members 30 can be mounted in advance by means of locking at the rear surface of thedisplay 20, and thehook member 30 is provided with two sets ofhooks 301. As shown, in an embodiment of the present invention, therail 102 can be mounted beforehand at thefirst baffle 1012 on themain support seat 101 as required. By passing more than onescrew 104 through the through hole 10211 (the through hole is most preferably a long through hole) of therail 102, and screwing the screws in thebolt holes 10121 on the plane of thefirst baffle 1012, therail 102 is secured to the plane of thefirst baffle 1012. As described above, themain support seat 101 having therail 102 can be provided with a relative support bracket (not shown) to secure themain support seat 101 to a wall or a plane of a ceiling. Referring back toFIG. 2 , thedisplay 20 previously mounted with thehook members 30 is hooked onto thefirst rim 10122 and thesecond rim 10132 of themain support seat 101 from top to bottom by the plurality ofhooks 301 of thehook members 30 respectively. - Referring to
FIG. 3 , a second schematic view of an embodiment according to the present invention is shown. As shown, the suspendeddisplay 20 is as shown in this figure, at this time, if anelectronic device 40 needs to be connected to thedisplay 20, for example, a host of a micro-computer, and a digital TV box, theelectronic device 40 can be fixed to thecarrier seat 103 in advance, and then therelative rail part 1031 of thecarrier seat 103 is made to match thesecond rail part 1022 of therail 102, and thecarrier seat 103 slides in along thesecond rail part 1022, so as to mount thecarrier seat 103 into the rail. Furthermore, in order to locate thecarrier seat 103 at a specific position after sliding in, more than onepositioning point 1024 can be formed at the end of thesecond rail part 1022, so as to block thecarrier seat 103 before reaching to thepositioning points 1024 after sliding in, so as to produce positioning effect. Moreover, thepositioning points 1024 can be formed on the plane of each rail part after being directly processed, or by locking with a screw (the same with other rail parts). Referring toFIG. 4 , a third schematic view of an embodiment according to the present invention is shown. The integratedcarrier seat 103 andrail 102 are as shown in this figure after being mounted. As shown, the electronic device 40 (seeFIG. 3 ) is accommodated in the space at the rear of thedisplay 20 and formed between thecarrier seat 103 and thedisplay 20, and the connection wires at the rear of thedisplay 20 are efficiently and regularly accommodated by thewiring portions 1035 of the carrier seat 103 (seeFIG. 1 ). - As described above, referring to
FIG. 5 , a fourth schematic view of an embodiment according to the present invention is shown. As shown, the integration of themain support seat 101 and therail 102 can be finished beforehand, with therail 102 being mounted above themain support seat 101. Next, themain support seat 101 is further mounted to arelative support bracket 105, and therelative support bracket 105 is secured to awall 50. During installation, thedisplay 20 is hooked to thefirst rim 10122 and thesecond rim 10132 of themain support seat 101 with the plurality ofhooks 301 of thehook members 30 at the rear surface of thedisplay 20, such that thedisplay 20 can be secured to themain support seat 101 by thehook members 30. - Referring to
FIG. 6 , another preferable embodiment of the present invention is shown. Because the displays provided by various manufacturers have different specifications and structures, suitable applications also can be achieved by the present invention depending on the structures of the displays. As shown, therail 102 of the present invention also can be mounted below themain support seat 101 according to requirements of practical mounting space. That is, therail 102 is arranged at the lower plane of thesecond baffle 1013 of themain support seat 101, and the integration of therail 102 and thesecond baffle 1013 is achieved by locking with more than onescrew 104. In this way, thecarrier seat 103 can be mounted below themain support seat 101 depending on the position of therail 102. - Referring to
FIG. 7 , a still another preferable embodiment of the present invention is shown. As shown, thecarrier seat 103 can be mounted inside themain support seat 101. In the embodiment as shown in the figure, therail 102 can be secured to the lower plane of thefirst baffle 1012 of themain support seat 101 by more than onescrew 104. That is, therail 102 is located in theaccommodation space 60 formed between themain support seat 101 and the rear surface of thedisplay 20. Then, thecarrier seat 103 slides in along therail 102 to finish the installation. As such, theelectronic device 40 carried by thecarrier seat 103 can be efficiently accommodated. Again, as described above, therail 102 also can be mounted at the upper plane of thesecond baffle 1013, and the effect produced is the same as above, and will not be repeated here. - As described above, the rail-type support device of the present invention mainly includes improving the conventional main support seat, and increasing the practicability thereof by providing a rail, such that the connection wires and electronic devices connected peripherally to the display may be integrated into a designated accommodation space. Furthermore, the installation position of the rail can be adjusted depending on various structures at the rear surface of different displays and requirements of practical mounting space, so as to further improve the whole practicability. In view of the above, the present invention can certainly provide a rail-type support device which has wiring effect and also can carrier an electronic device, thus ensuring the regularity at the rear of the display.
- However, it is understood that the descriptions above are only the preferable embodiments of the present invention, and not intended to limit the scope of the present invention. All equivalent modifications and changes made by those skilled in the art without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention shall fall into the claims of the present invention.
Claims (9)
1. A rail-type support device, mounted at a rear surface of a plane, and capable of suspending a display by a hook member arranged at the rear surface of the display to fix the display, comprising:
a main support seat, having a main plane portion, wherein a baffle is formed at two edges of the main plane portion respectively, and a rim is formed at edges of each baffle for a hook of the hook member to suspend;
a rail, formed with more than one rail part, and mounted at a plane of one of the baffles of the main support seat; and
a carrier seat, formed with a carrier portion, wherein a relative rail part is formed at an edge of the carrier part, and the carrier seat is mounted in the rail by mounting the relative rail part into one of the rail parts of the rail.
2. The rail-type support device according to claim 1 , wherein more than one bolt hole is formed on a plane of each baffle of the main support seat, for more than one screw to pass through the rail, so as to secure the rail onto the plane of the baffle.
3. The rail-type support device according to claim 1 , wherein the carrier portion of the carrier seat is formed with more than one wiring portion.
4. The rail-type support device according to claim 1 , wherein the carrier portion of the carrier seat is formed with more than one through hole, for more than one screw to pass through, so as to secure an electronic device to the carrier seat.
5. The rail-type support device according to claim 4 , wherein the electronic device is a host of a micro-computer.
6. The rail-type support device according to claim 4 , wherein the electronic device is a digital TV box.
7. The rail-type support device according to claim 1 , wherein the rail is mounted at the baffle below the main support seat, so as to mount the carrier seat below the main support seat.
8. The rail-type support device according to claim 1 , wherein, the rail is mounted at the lower plane of the baffle of the main support seat, such that the carrier seat is mounted in an accommodation space formed between the main support seat and the display.
9. The rail-type support device according to claim 1 , wherein a relative support bracket is mounted on the main plane portion of the main support seat, and the relative support bracket is secured to a wall.
