Abstract

A stretch strap of a chair has multiple stretch ropes and a soft sleeve. The soft sleeve receives the two stretch ropes therein. Each stretch rope has multiple rubber cords and a covering layer binding the rubber cords therein. Since the covering layer is a weave, so there are gaps on the covering layer and a concave is formed between the two adjacent stretch ropes, when the stretch ropes are tied together. However, the woven covering layer is inside of the soft sleeve, the soft sleeve prevents dirt from receiving in the gaps and the concaves. In addition, a chair user directly sits on the soft sleeve not on the woven covering layers and feels comfortable.

Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • 1. Field of the Invention
  • The present invention relates to a stretch strap, and more particularly to a stretch strap of a chair.
  • 2. Description of Related Art
  • A conventional chair has a frame and multiple stretch strap assemblies. The frame has a U-shape bar and two L-shape bars. The stretch strap assemblies are respectively connected between seat supports of the L-shape bars and between legs of the U-shape bar in juxtaposition for supporting a user's buttocks and back. With reference to FIG. 5, each stretch strap assembly has two connectors (30) and a stretch strap (40). The stretch strap (40) has multiple stretch ropes, that are tied together to constitute a flat surface. With further reference to FIG. 6, each stretch rope has multiple rubber cords (42) and a covering layer (41). Since the covering layer (41) is a weave, the rubber cords (42) are bound together during the covering layer (41) is woven. Further, the covering layer (41) is the weave, so there are gaps on the covering layer (41). In addition, a concave (411) is formed between the two adjacent stretch ropes, when the stretch ropes are tied together. Therefore, dirt is easily received in the gaps and the concave (411), and is difficult to remove. Since the woven covering layer (41) has to securely bind the stretch ropes (42), the stretch rope (41) is hard. The user feels uncomfortable when the user sits on it.
  • Therefore, the present invention provides a new stretch strap for a chair to mitigate or obviate the aforementioned problems of the conventional stretch strap.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • The primary objective of the present invention is to provide a stretch strap for a chair that is easily cleaned and make a chair user feels comfortable when the chair user sits on it.
  • The stretch strap of a chair has multiple stretch ropes and a soft sleeve. The soft sleeve is made of elastic cloth. Therefore, the two stretch ropes are received in the soft sleeve. Each stretch rope has multiple rubber cords and a covering layer binding the rubber cords therein. Since the covering layer is a weave, so there are gaps on the covering layer. In addition, a concave is formed between the two adjacent stretch ropes, when the stretch ropes are tied together. However, the covering layer is inside of the soft sleeve, the soft sleeve prevents dirt from receiving in the gaps and the concaves. In addition, a chair user directly sits on the soft sleeve not on the woven covering layers and feels comfortable.
  • Other objectives, advantages and novel features of the invention will become more apparent from the following detailed description when taken in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
  • FIG. 1 is a perspective referenced view of multiple stretch straps on a chair in accordance with the present invention;
  • FIG. 2 is a perspective view of the stretch strap with the connector in FIG. 1;
  • FIG. 3A is an exposed perspective view of a first embodiment of a stretch strap in accordance with the present invention;
  • FIG. 3B is a perspective view of the stretch strap of FIG. 3A;
  • FIG. 4 is a perspective view of a second embodiment of a stretch strap in accordance with the present invention;
  • FIG. 5 is a perspective view of a conventional stretch strap with two connectors in accordance with prior art; and
  • FIG. 6 is a perspective view in partial of one stretch rope of the stretch strap in FIG. 5.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
  • With reference to FIGS. 1 and 2, a chair has a frame (10) and multiple stretch straps (20) and connectors (12). The frame (11) has a U-shape bar (11 a) and two L-shape bars (11 b). The stretch straps (20) are respectively connected between seat supports of the L-shape bars (11 b) and between legs of the U-shape bar (11 a) in juxtaposition for supporting a user's buttocks and back by the connectors (12).
  • With reference to FIG. 3A, each stretch strap (20) has two stretch ropes (200) and a soft sleeve (23). The two stretch ropes (200) are received in the soft sleeve (23).
  • Each stretch rope (20) has multiple rubber cords (220) and a covering layer (210). The rubber cords (220) are received in the covering layer (210). The covering layer (210) is a weave, so there are gaps on the covering layer (210). Further, a concave is formed between the two adjacent stretch ropes (20), when the stretch ropes (20) are tied together.
  • With further reference to FIG. 3B, the two stretch ropes (200) may be in the soft sleeve (23) in parallel to constitute a flat surface. The soft sleeve (23) is made of elastic cloth.
  • With reference to FIG. 4, the soft sleeve (23) may receive three stretch ropes (200) therein and the three stretch ropes (200) are parallelly connected in the soft sleeve (23) to constitute a flat surface.
  • Based on the foregoing description, the present invention further provides a soft sleeve to cover at least two stretch ropes therein, so the soft sleeve prevents the dirt from receiving in the gaps and the concaves. In addition, a chair user directly sits on the soft sleeve not on the woven covering layers and feels comfortable.
  • Even though numerous characteristics and advantages of the present invention have been set forth in the foregoing description, together with details of the structure and function of the invention, the disclosure is illustrative only, and changes may be made in detail, especially in matters of shape, size, and arrangement of parts within the principles of the invention to the full extent indicated by the broad general meaning of the terms in which the appended claims are expressed.
