Abstract

Present invention is related to a floor sweeping device which, when used as a sweeping head accessory of any electrical vacuum cleaner, ensures that the dust particles collected into a movable reservoir (1.4) by the means of the sweeping action of a rotary brush (1.7) and vacuum and through a joint pipe (1.6) located on its body, are absorbed into the dust collection reservoir of the vacuum cleaner that the device is attached via a hose.

  • FIELD OF THE INVENTION
  • The present invention is related to a floor sweeping device which, when used as a sweeping head accessory of any electrical vacuum cleaner, ensures that the dust particles collected into a movable reservoir (1.4) by the means of the sweeping action of a rotary brush (1.7) and vacuum and through a joint pipe (1.6) located on its body, are absorbed into the dust collection reservoir of the vacuum cleaner that the device is attached via a hose.
  • BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • This device is not currently on the market.
  • In addition to the use of the device according to present invention as an attachment to a vacuum cleaned, it can be used as an stand-alone unit without being attached to any vacuum cleaner.
  • BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • The present invention is a motor-driven, re-chargeable, movable device with rotary brushes and dust collector, for use either as an independent unit which taps and sweeps on its own or as an accessory of dust absorbing, tapping, sweeping head in any electrical vacuum cleaners either of industrial or house type.

  • Present invention is related to a motor-driven (1.1) floor-sweeping device with a rotary brush (1.7) which, when used as a stand-alone unit, has a circular brush (1.7) that is rotated by an electric motor (1.1) powered by a re-chargeable battery group through a belt (1.2), pulley (1.3) or gear group and collects and accumulates in itself any rigid or soft particles from the carpets or hard surfaces, and also a reservoir (1.4) system which is both cleanable and movable.
  • The device according to present invention is powered by a re-chargeable battery (1.5) located into the body, without use of any feeding cable.
  • The device according to present invention is equipped with an on/off switch, a LED that goes on during re-charging and/or a charging level indicator, and cleaning function is performed by a rotary brush system.
  • In the device according to present invention, the dust and particle collection reservoir (1.4) is located at the floor level, just behind the rotary brush system.
  • The device according to present invention collects the dust particles in the reservoir without any dust bag, which is secured by an inter-locking system arranged so as to be attached from both sides, top or bottom sides depending on the mode of attachment thereof and thereby the swept dusts or particles are collected by the front (1.7) and/or side brush (1.9). The device according to present invention consists of 5 major components which are bottom body, top body, dust-particle reservoir (1.4), rotary brush (1.7) and joint handle group (1.6 and 1.8), sub-components thereof and 2 wheels located at the back or underside in order to ensure movement.
  • The device according to present invention is equipped with a belt (1.2) connected to a motor pulley (1.3) which is located on the motor shaft used in transmitting the moment produced by motor (1.1) to the rotary brush located at the front side of upper body, or a system formed by multiple gears.
  • The device according to present invention has also a striper part (1.10) made of rubber, which, when the device is moved forwards relative to the user during the operation thereof on a rigid surface, drags various particles on the surface by stripping and cancels the strip and drag action while moving backwards, and completes the function thereby.
  • The device according to present invention has also a bedding system which ensures that the front brush (1.7) located in the front rotates towards both sides in a stable and balanced way, and scans all over the surface to be swept along its direction of movement. In the device according to present invention, a second brush is located to the back part of the device that rotates in the opposite direction of the front one in order to increase the efficiency of sweeping action.
  • The device according to present invention is also equipped with a side brush (1.9) which is driven by an end of circular rotary brush via a gear group and ensures that any particles accumulated at the side of a plane that is parallel to the operational plane (at the skirting boards, etc.) are pushed forwards and collected thereby.

Claims (14)

1. A floor sweeping device used as a sweeping head accessory of any electrical vacuum cleaner to collect dust particles into a movable reservoir comprising:
a rotary brush with sweeping action,
a vacuum having a joint pipe located on a body thereof, and
a dust collection reservoir attached via a hose.
2. A motor-driven floor-sweeping device with a rotary brush according to claim 1, further comprising a circular brush rotated by an electric motor powered by a re-chargeable battery group through a belt, pulley or gear group and means to collects and accumulates any rigid or soft particles from carpets or hard surfaces therein, and a reservoir system being cleanable and movable.
3. A motor-driven floor-sweeping device with a rotary brush according to claim 1, being powered by a re-chargeable battery located into the body, without use of any feeding cable.
4. A motor-driven floor-sweeping device with a rotary brush according to claim 1, further comprising an on/off switch, a LED that goes on during re-charging and/or a charging level indicator.
5. A motor-driven floor-sweeping device with a rotary brush according to claim 1 further comprising a rotary brush system with a cleaning function.
6. A motor-driven floor-sweeping device with a rotary brush according to claim 1, wherein the dust and particle collection reservoir is located at a floor level, just behind the rotary brush system.

A motor-driven floor-sweeping device with a rotary brush according to claim 1, wherein dust particles are collectable in the reservoir without any dust bag, secured by an inter-locking system arranged so as to be attached from both sides, top or bottom sides depending on the mode of attachment thereof and thereby the swept dusts or particles are collected by the front and/or side brush.
8. A motor-driven floor-sweeping device with a rotary brush according to claim 1, having a bottom body, top body, dust-particle reservoir, rotary brush and joint handle group, sub-components thereof.
9. A motor-driven floor-sweeping device with a rotary brush according to claim 1, further comprising a plurality of wheels located at the back or underside of the body.

A motor-driven floor-sweeping device with a rotary brush according to claim 1, further comprising a belt connected to a motor pulley located on the motor shaft used in transmitting the moment produced by motor to the rotary brush located at the front side of upper body, or a system formed by multiple gears.

A motor-driven floor-sweeping device with a rotary brush according to claim 1, further comprising a striper part comprised of rubber, which, when the device is moved forwards relative to the user during the operation thereof on a rigid surface, said part being draggable on various particles on the surface by stripping and having a cancelable strip and drag action while moving backwards.
12. A motor-driven floor-sweeping device with a rotary brush according to claim 1, further comprising a bedding system with the front brush located in the front rotatable towards both sides in a stable and balanced way, and scanable all over the surface to be swept along a direction of movement.
13. A motor-driven floor-sweeping device with a rotary brush according to claim 1, further comprising a second brush located on a back part thereof, rotatable in an opposite direction of said rotary brush so as to increase efficiency of a sweeping action.
14. A motor-driven floor-sweeping device with a rotary brush according to claim 1, further comprising a side brush, driven by an end of said rotary brush via a gear group ensuring particles as pushable in front of said rotary brush and collectable by said rotary brush, the particles being accumulated at a side of a plane parallel to an operational plane of said rotary brush.
