Any desirable color of lenses may be employed and means may be provided for changing colors if desired either by shifting lenses or providing different colors which may be turned on one at a time or all together.
' By reference to Fig. 10 it will be seen that the motor which drives the fan 55 is connected in series with a rheostat 42 and a portion 43 of the heating element i l while a pilot light 44 is connected in parallel therewith and a suitable switch 45 which may be manually operated. It will also be seen that the electric lights 4! are connected in series with a portion 46 of the heatingelement M and a suitable switch 4?. The main portions 48 and 49 of the heating element M are connected through a selector switch 56 which by connection with the contact 5i places the portion 48* in service, by connection with the point places the portion 49 in service and by connection to the spaced contacts 53 and 54 places both in operation.
In use the cover 38 is removed and the receptacle on the two sides of the partition filled with different kinds of nuts or the like, the cover 35 preventing any of these from entering the cage 33 and the motor I6, lights 6! and heater it or any of them is placed in operation. Where only the lights are employed as will sometimesbe the case the portion 45 of the heating element will be in operation and by the well known tendency of heated air to rise will cause a slight circulation through the receptacle'which in warm weather may be sufficient to maintain the nuts at the desired temperature. If the motor is also turned on but not the main portions of the heating element, air will circulate through the device at a much higher rate and heat will be provided by the heating element portion 43 and/or that 45.
Normally, however, when the device is filled with nuts at low temperature it will be desirable for atime at least to place the heating elements 18, 49, or both, into operation in order to get best results. The perforated cage with the baiile in which it terminates at its lower end, together with the baiile partition therebelow form means for free circulation of heated air to all parts of the receptacle and provide for heating the nuts above the bafile partition to substantially even degree while separating the same into two bodies, one above and one below the said bafile partition, that below, which is soonest to be delivered, being subjected to heat in a somewhat greater degree.

From the foregoing it will be evident that I have provided a device of the character described which is well adapted for its intended purposes and while I have shown and described the preferred embodiment I wish it understood that I am not limited to the details thereof but only in accordance with the prior art and with the spirit and scope of the appended claims.
Having thus described my invention, what I claim is:
1. In a device of the class described, a recep tacle having inlet means for air at the bottom thereof, outlet means for air at the top thereof and a dispensing outlet at one side for removal of nuts therefrom, means for forcing heated air into and through said receptacle, a funnel shaped, horizontal bafile partition spaced above the bottom of said receptacle and a foraminous cage spaced above said bafiie partition.
2. In a device of the class described, a receptacle having inlet means for air at the bottom thereof, outlet means for air at the top thereof and a dispensing outlet at one side for removal of nuts therefrom, means for forcing heated air into and through said receptacle, a funnel shaped,
horizontal baffle partition spaced above the botwith a closed top and a flaring bottom.
3. In a device of the character described, an
opaque base having set thereinto a receptacle of smaller bottom diameter than the diameter of the top of the base, the top of said base being provided with a flange extending above the bottom of said receptacle and radially spaced therefrom; electric lights in the space between said receptacle and said flange, a conduit communicating with said receptacle and having an electric heater and a pump therein, said lights being connected in series with a portion of said heating means.
4. In a device of the class described, a base comprising a socket for a display and heating receptacle and a delivery platform, receptacle forming means mounted upon said socket, said means being provided with a restricted air outlet at the top thereof; a closure separating said re ceptacle and said platform and when. open permitting the passage of heated air whereby nuts remaining on the platform may be kept hot and means for supplying heated air to said receptacle".
5. As a sub combination in a device of the character described, a substantially vertical partition plate carrying centrally a vertically extending foraminous, open bottomed, closed topped tube, said plate extending substantially radially of said tube, and said partition plate having attached thereto below said tube and spaced therefrom aninwardly and downwardly extending .baiile partition, said bafile partition extending transversely of said tube.
6. As a sub-combination in a device of the character described, av vertically extending foraminated partition plate carrying a vertically extending ioraminated tubular element, said plate extending substantially radially of said tube, said partition plate also carrying a foraminated baffle element extending transversely of said tube and spaced therebelow.

In a device of the character described, the combination of a container for nutsand from which leads, a delivery outlet, a partition fitting within said container and dividing the same into a plurality of compartments each of which is in open communication with said delivery outlet, said partition having a ioraminous bottom pore tion and including a foraminous tubular portion the lower 'end of which is disposed over and spaced from said bottom portion.
