Abstract
A cosmetics container includes a main body, a top cover, and a colored plate. Thus, the reflective face of the top cover co-operates with the colored plate to produce a colorful optical reflective effect, and the refractive face of the top cover produces a refractive effect, thereby enhancing the aesthetic quality of the cosmetics container so that the cosmetics container has an outstanding appearance.
Description
- 1. Field of the Invention
- The present invention relates to a cosmetics container having an outstanding appearance, and more particularly to a cosmetics container, wherein the reflective face of the top cover co-operates with the colored plate to produce a colorful optical reflective effect, and the refractive face of the top cover produces a refractive effect, thereby enhancing the aesthetic quality of the cosmetics container.
- 2. Description of the Related Art
- A conventional cosmetics container in accordance with the prior art shown in
FIGS. 13-15 comprises amain body 10, and atop cover 20 mounted on themain body 10. Themain body 10 has a top formed with anannular lip 12. Thelip 12 of themain body 10 has an inner wall formed with achamber 11 and an outer wall formed with an outer thread 121. Thetop cover 20 has an inside formed with amounting recess 21 to receive thelip 12 of themain body 10. The mounting recess 21 of thetop cover 20 has a wall formed with aninner thread 211 screwed on the outer thread 121 of thelip 12 of themain body 10. - However, the consumer cannot directly see cosmetics contained in the
chamber 11 of themain body 10, thereby largely decreasing attraction to the consumer. In addition, themain body 10 and thetop cover 20 of the conventional cosmetics container lacks variation of colors or patterns, thereby decreasing the aesthetic quality of the conventional cosmetics container. - The primary objective of the present invention is to provide a cosmetics container, wherein the reflective face of the top cover co-operates with the colored plate to produce a colorful optical reflective effect, and the refractive face of the top cover produces a refractive effect, thereby enhancing the aesthetic quality of the cosmetics container so that the cosmetics container has an outstanding appearance.
- Another objective of the present invention is to provide a cosmetics container, wherein the colored plate can be removed and replaced, thereby enhancing variation of the aesthetic quality of the cosmetics container.
- In accordance with the present invention, there is provided a cosmetics container, comprising:

- a main body; and
- a top cover mounted on the main body and having a bottom wall provided with a reflective face directed toward the main body to produce an optical reflective effect.

FIG. 14 is a perspective view of a top cover of the conventional cosmetics container in accordance with the prior art; and -
FIG. 15 is a side plan cross-sectional assembly view of the conventional cosmetics container as shown inFIG. 13 . - Referring to the drawings and initially to
FIGS. 1-6 , a cosmetics container in accordance with the preferred embodiment of the present invention comprises amain body 30, atop cover 40, and acolored plate 50. - The
main body 30 is made of transparent or translucent material. Themain body 30 has an inside formed with areceiving space 31 containing cosmetics 33 (seeFIG. 5 ) therein. Themain body 30 has top face provided with a stepped annular protrudingflange 32 extending upward therefrom. The protrudingflange 32 of themain body 30 has an outer periphery provided with a plurality of equally spaced inverted L-shaped snapping plates 321. - The
top cover 40 is made of transparent or translucent material. Thetop cover 40 is mounted on themain body 30 and has a bottom face formed with a circular mounting recess 41 to receive the protrudingflange 32 of themain body 30. The mounting recess 41 of thetop cover 40 has an inner periphery provided with a plurality of equally spacedrectangular locking blocks 411 each snapped into a respective one of thesnapping plates 321 of theprotruding flange 32 of themain body 30. The mounting recess 41 of thetop cover 40 has a bottom wall provided with an annularreflective face 412. Thereflective face 412 of the mounting recess 41 of thetop cover 40 has a periphery provided with astepped edge 413 rested on the protrudingflange 32 of themain body 30. Thetop cover 40 has a top face provided with a multi-angledrefractive face 42. - The
colored plate 50 is bonded on a surface of thestepped edge 413 of themounting recess 41 of thetop cover 40 and is located under thereflective face 412 of thetop cover 40. Thecolored plate 50 is a circular plate having a single color, multiple colors or laser patterns. - In assembly, the
top cover 40 is mounted on themain body 30 and the protrudingflange 32 of themain body 30 is mounted in themounting recess 41 of thetop cover 40. Then, thetop cover 40 is rotated relative to themain body 30, so that each of thelocking blocks 411 of thetop cover 40 is rotated and snapped into a respective one of thesnapping plates 321 of the protrudingflange 32 of themain body 30 as shown inFIG. 6 , thereby locking thetop cover 40 on themain body 30. - In practice, the
reflective face 412 of thetop cover 40 co-operates with thecolored plate 50 to produce a colorful optical reflective effect, and therefractive face 42 of thetop cover 40 produces a refractive effect, thereby enhancing the aesthetic quality of the cosmetics container so that the cosmetics container has an outstanding appearance. In addition, thecolored plate 50 can be removed and replaced, thereby enhancing variation of the aesthetic quality of the cosmetics container. - Referring to
FIGS. 7-12 , a cosmetics container in accordance with another embodiment of the present invention comprises amain body 30, atop cover 60, and acolored plate 70. - The
main body 30 is made of transparent or translucent material. Themain body 30 has an inside formed with areceiving space 31 containing cosmetics 33 (seeFIG. 11 ) therein. Themain body 30 has top face provided with a stepped annular protrudingflange 32 extending upward therefrom. The protrudingflange 32 of themain body 30 has an outer periphery provided with a plurality of equally spaced inverted L-shaped snapping plates 321. - The
top cover 60 is made of transparent or translucent material. Thetop cover 60 is mounted on themain body 30 and has a bottom face formed with a circular mounting recess 61 to receive the protrudingflange 32 of themain body 30. The mounting recess 61 of thetop cover 60 has an inner periphery provided with a plurality of equally spacedrectangular locking blocks 611 each snapped into a respective one of thesnapping plates 321 of theprotruding flange 32 of themain body 30. The mounting recess 61 of thetop cover 60 has a bottom wall provided with an annularreflective face 612. Thereflective face 612 of the mounting recess 61 of thetop cover 60 has a periphery provided with astepped edge 613 rested on the protrudingflange 32 of themain body 30. Thereflective face 612 of the mounting recess 61 of thetop cover 60 has an inner side provided with aconvex lens 614. - The
colored plate 70 is bonded on a surface of the steppededge 613 of the mountingrecess 61 of thetop cover 60 and is located under thereflective face 612 of thetop cover 60. Thecolored plate 70 is an annular plate having a single color, multiple colors or laser patterns. - In assembly, the
top cover 60 is mounted on themain body 30 and the protrudingflange 32 of themain body 30 is mounted in the mountingrecess 61 of thetop cover 60. Then, thetop cover 60 is rotated relative to themain body 30, so that each of the locking blocks 611 of thetop cover 60 is rotated and snapped into a respective one of the snappingplates 321 of the protrudingflange 32 of themain body 30 as shown inFIG. 12 , thereby locking thetop cover 60 on themain body 30. - In practice, the
reflective face 612 of thetop cover 60 co-operates with thecolored plate 70 to produce a colorful optical reflective effect, and theconvex lens 614 of thetop cover 60 produces an optical amplifying effect, thereby enhancing the aesthetic quality of the cosmetics container so that the cosmetics container has an outstanding appearance. In addition, thecolored plate 70 can be removed and replaced, thereby enhancing variation of the aesthetic quality of the cosmetics container. - Although the invention has been explained in relation to its preferred embodiment(s) as mentioned above, it is to be understood that many other possible modifications and variations can be made without departing from the scope of the present invention. It is, therefore, contemplated that the appended claim or claims will cover such modifications and variations that fall within the true scope of the invention.
Claims (16)
1. A cosmetics container, comprising:
a main body; and
a top cover mounted on the main body and having a bottom wall provided with a reflective face directed toward the main body to produce an optical reflective effect.
2. The cosmetics container in accordance with claim 1 , wherein the main body is made of transparent material.
3. The cosmetics container in accordance with claim 1 , wherein the main body is made of translucent material.
4. The cosmetics container in accordance with claim 1 , wherein the main body has an inside formed with a receiving space containing cosmetics therein.
5. The cosmetics container in accordance with claim 1 , wherein the main body has top face provided with a stepped annular protruding flange extending upward therefrom, and the top cover has a bottom face formed with a circular mounting recess to receive the protruding flange of the main body.

The cosmetics container in accordance with claim 5 , wherein the protruding flange of the main body has an outer periphery provided with a plurality of equally spaced inverted L-shaped snapping plates, and the mounting recess of the top cover has an inner periphery provided with a plurality of equally spaced rectangular locking blocks each snapped into a respective one of the snapping plates of the protruding flange of the main body.
7. The cosmetics container in accordance with claim 5 , wherein the mounting recess of the top cover has a bottom wall provided with the reflective face.
8. The cosmetics container in accordance with claim 5 , wherein the reflective face of the top cover has a periphery provided with a stepped edge rested on the protruding flange of the main body.
9. The cosmetics container in accordance with claim 8 , further comprising a colored plate bonded on a surface of the stepped edge of the mounting recess of the top cover and located under the reflective face of the top cover.
10. The cosmetics container in accordance with claim 9 , wherein the colored plate is a circular plate having a single color, multiple colors or laser patterns.
11. The cosmetics container in accordance with claim 9 , wherein the colored plate is an annular plate having a single color, multiple colors or laser patterns.
12. The cosmetics container in accordance with claim 1 , wherein the top cover is made of transparent material.
13. The cosmetics container in accordance with claim 1 , wherein the top cover is made of translucent material.
14. The cosmetics container in accordance with claim 1 , wherein the top cover has a top face provided with a multi-angled refractive face.
15. The cosmetics container in accordance with claim 1 , wherein the top cover has an inner side provided with a convex lens.
16. The cosmetics container in accordance with claim 1 , wherein the reflective face of the top cover has an inner side provided with a convex lens.
