The garment made in accordance with my invention is a combination or. ensemble garment in which a hose supporter belt and drawers or bloomers are combined in a single garment, thus eliminating the use of at least one garment- Among womens underwear is also included a so called sanitary belt, andv the garment made in accordance with my present invention may also be constructed to include suitable tabs depending from the hose supporter belt and adapted to have a catamenial bandage attached thereto, whereby the garment is also adapted to eliminate the use of a second garment when necessary.

In carrying out the invention the garment made in accordance therewithis preferably so constructed as to include a belt, adapted to conform to the waist line of the wearer, means for securing the garment in position on the body of the wearer, either adjustably or otherwise, and a drawers or bloomer member secured to and dependin from the belt member, togetherwith suita ly placed hose supporter tabs and hose supporters which are connected to and depend from the belt and lie entirely within the drawers or bloomers member, and also as aforesaid with suitable tabs depending from the belt member and adapted to support a catamenial bandage, all of which will be hereinafter more particularly described. invention is constructed to include a belt member preferably comprising a front section 10 and a back section 10 which are made of any suitable material and in the necessary conformation to fit the waist of the wearer,

and enclose a suitable liner member .11. At one side of the garment, preferably the right hand side, the sections of the belt member are connected to each other by lines of stitching indicatedat 12. The front and back sections of the belt may also be preferably made of a multiple of plies ofmaterial. As illustrated, there are two plies of material in these sections of the belt member, for example, the back section 10 may include an outer ply 13, an inner ply 14, and the lining member 11, which together with similar plies in the front section and an intermediate lining are connected at their upper edges by a line of stitching 15. The lower edges of the belt member are connected to each other and to the drawers member, as hereinafter described, by lines of stitching indicated at 16 and 16. At the opposite, or left hand side of the garment the belt member is open and one end thereof, and preferably the end of the front section 10, is provided with a series of hooks 17, and in similar positions at the end of the back member 10 there are setsof eyes 18 and 19, either set of which may engage with the hooks 17 to adj ustably connect and secure the garment in position on the body of the wearer. As illustrated the lower edge of the front section of the belt preferably tapers downwardlyto a centrally disposed point 20 in order to cause the lower front central portion of the belt to overlie the upper portion of the abdomen of the wearer to act as a support or control member therefor.

As hereinbefore stated the garment also includes a drawers or bloomers member connected to and depending from the belt member. The drawers or bloomers member may also be made in sections, for example, there may be a front section 21 and a back section 22. At the right hand side of the garment these members are connected to each other by lines of stitching 23 whereas on the left hand side of the garment these sections of the drawers or bloomers member are connected by a line of stitching 24 from the lower edge of the garment upwardly a predetermined distance so as to leave an opening or placket 25 at the upper portion thereof which is in alignment with and forms a part of the closure for the garment. These sections of the drawers or bloomers member are cutaway as indicated at 26 and the cutaway portions connected by a line of stitching 27 to form the legs of the garment and provide a crotch between the same. It will be understood, however, that the belt member as well as the drawers or bloomers member may be made of single pieces of a suitably shaped fabric instead of in sections as hereinbefore described.

The belt member, furthermore, is so constructed as to include hose supporter tabs. These hose supporter tabs are preferably made as integral parts of the inner ply of the parts of the belt member. In the front section of the belt member there are hose supporter tabs 28 and 29 formed as part of the inner ply of the front section of the belt member and detachably connected to these hose supporter tabs 28 and 29 there are hose supporters 30 and 31 which obviously lie entirely within the drawers or bloomers member. Similarly, at the back of the garment there are hose supporter tabs 32 and 33 made as integral parts of and depending from the inner ply of the back section of the belt member. Detachably connected to the hose supporter tabs 32 and 33 there are hose supporters 34: and 35. Any suitable means may be employed for detachably connecting the hose supporters to the hose supporter tabs but these devices form no part of the present invention. It will be understood, of course, that the hose supporters 34 and 35 like the hose supporters 30 and 31 lie entirely within the drawers or bloomers member of the garment. Of course it will be understood that the reason for employing devices for detachably connecting the hose supporters to the hose supporter tabs is to make it possible to readily disconnect the hose supporters from the garment when it is necessary to wash the garment and thereafter to readily reattach the hose supporters to their tabs.

The inner ply parts of the sections of the belt member may also be provided with suitable tabs for attaching a catamenial bandage thereto, for example, the inner ply of the front section 10 of the belt member may be formed to include a depending tab 36 and similarly the inner ply of the back section 10' of the be t member to include a depending tab 37. Each liner 11 is formed to correspond in outline or configuration with the corresponding inner ply of the belt member of the garment so that each liner is provided with a set of tabs corresponding to those of the inner plies of the belt member, for earample. the tab 37 has a liner tab 37' underlymg and suitably connected to the same.

viously the purpose of these liner tabs is to provide sufficient strength in the tabs to with stand the strain placed upon them in the use of the garment.

Depending upon the fullness with which it is desirable to provide the drawers or bloomers member, the upper portion thereof are more or less plaited or shirred as indicated at 38 in the front of the garment and 39 in the rear of the garment in attaching the same to the belt member thereof.

Also as indicated in the drawing, the lower edge portions of the drawers or bloomers member may be plait'ed or tucked, as designated at 40 and 41 to lend an attractive appearance to the garment. Of course the drawers or bloomers member may be connected in any suitable manner to the belt member.

As indicated in Fig. 3. however, the upper edge of the drawers or bloomers member is first connected to the lower edge portion of the liners and the inner ply parts of the sections of the belt member by lines of stitching indicated at 16 passing merely through the upper edge portion of the drawers or bloomers member and the lower edge portions of the liners and the inner ply parts of the sections of the belt member, and these parts are further connected by a line of stitching 16 which passes through the lower edge portions of both the inner and outer ply parts of the sections and the liner of the belt member and also through the upper portions of the drawers or bloomers member. The line of stitching 16 may be adjacent the line of stitching 16 or coincident therewith and, of course, as will be obvious the line of stitching 16 only is visible from the outer side of the garment while both these lines of stitching are visible on the inner side of the garment.

It is to be noted that the garment made in accordance with this invention is one in which no elastic material and no stays or boning are employed and also, as hereinbefore stated, may be made to be adiustably or otherwise secured in position on the body of the wearer.

Manifestly also the parts of the garment may be varied within reasonable limits from that illustrated and hereinbefore described without departing from the nature and spirit of the invention.

I claim as my invention 1. In a garment of the type described, a belt member adapted to fit the waist of a wearer and comprising multi-ply parts including an inner ply section and an outer ply section, a plurality of supporter tabs integral with and depending from the inner ply section of the belt. and a drawers member having its upper edge lying within the parts of the belt member and connected thereto on a line extending above the said supporter tabs.

2. In a garment of the type described, a belt member adapted to fit the waist of a wearer and comprising multi-ply parts including an inner ply section having a plurality of supporter tabs depending therefrom, a liner section having a plurality of supporter tabs depending therefrom and with which the supporter tabs of'the inner ply section are coincident, an outer ply section, and a drawers member having its upper edge lying between the said outer ply section and the liner section and connected to all the parts of the belt along a line extending above the said tabs depending from the inner ply section and the liner section.

3. In a garment of the type described, a belt member adapted to fit the waist of a wearer and comprising an inner ply section having a plurality of hose supporter tabs depending therefrom, a liner section, hose supporter tabs depending from the liner section corresponding in number and being coincident with the hose supporter tabs depending from the inner ply section, an outer ply section, the upper edges of the said inner ply section, the liner section and the outer ply section being connected by a line of stitching, and a drawers member having its upper edge portion lying between the said outer ply section of the belt member and its liner section, the said upper edge portion of the drawers member being connected to the inner ply section of the belt member and its liner section by a line of stitching above the said depending tabs, and the lower edge portion of the outer ply section of the belt member being connected to the upper edge portion of the drawers member and also to the liner section and the inner ply section of the belt member by a line of stitching which also extends above the said depending tabs.
