To all whom it may ooncem:

Another object of the invention resides in the provision of a shieldin construction of plates which will thoroug ly protect and conceal a party handling money and other valuables, mirrors or reflectin members being included in the shield construction and through of bulky packages.

With the foregoing and other objects in view as will appear as the description proceeds, the invention consists in the construction, combination and arrangement of cooperating elements as hereinafter more specifically set forth, claimed and shown in the accompanying drawings and in which:

What is claimed is:

1. In combination with a counter, a shield rising therefrom, a sidewall spaced therefrom, said shield having a door, fastening means for the door on the interior thereof and of said shield and the shield adjacent said side wall extending rearwardly to profeet the fasteningmeans against unauthorized opening.

2. In combination with a walls extending above the same, a shield rising from the counter intermediate said side walls, a door on the shield fastening means for the door operable from the interior, said shield at its sides having-interiorly extendmg portions to protect the door against unauthorized opening and means to brace the ber extending inwardly from said side walls edges and terminating beyond the outer side of the side portions, said side walls having reflecting surfaces in advance of said baflie' platesto permit virtual images to be viewed a person through the spaces intermediate the said side portions and baffle plates while concealed by the shield means.

4. A window shield means having a side wall, ashield member adjacent to the same having a rearwardly deflected side portion terminating short of said side wall, a baflle plate in the rear of said shield member extending inwardly from said side wall and terminating beyond the outer side edge of said side portion, and said side wall having a reflecting surface in advance of said bafile plate to permit virtual images to be viewed by a person through the space intermediate details of the guide portion and baffle plate while con cealed by the shield means.
