IMPROVEMENT IN CHAIR-SEATS..
The Schedule referred to in these Letters Patent; and making part of the same.
Be it known that I, GARDNER A. WATKINS, of Cavendish, Proctoisrille lost-Oiice, in the county of Windsor and State of' Vermont, have invented a new and improved Chair-Seat or Bottom and I do hereby declare that the following is a full and exact description thereof, reference heilig had to the accompanying drawing and to the letters of reference marked thereon making a part ofthis specification.
This invention relates toa new and useful improvement in the manufacture ofcl1air-seats,&c., and cousists in constructing the bottom of said seats wholly or in part of rattan, the ends of' which are spliced or joined together 'hy cement. or in any other desirable manner. I y
