IMPROVEMENT IN PLows.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent N0. 105,53l, dated July 19,1870.
`.To all whom it may con/cern.:
Be it known that I, GEORGE WHARTON, of Jerseyville, in the county of Jersey and State of Illinois, have invented a new and useful Improvement in Plows; and Ido hereby declare that the following is a full and exact description of the same, reference being had .to the accompanying drawings, and to the letters of reference marked thereon. 1
This invention has for its object the production ofy a plow which Vshall be capable of adjustment at the foot of the standard; and it hconsists in the combination of a'curving beam, standard, and mold-board, as 4will be fully described hereinafter.

To enable others skilled in the art to make and use my invention, I will now proceed to describe fully its construction and operation.`
A represents the plow-beam, which is preferably constructed of iron and of the swanneck form; B represents the standard; C, the share; D, the landside, and E E the handles. The beam and handlesare .pivoted 'to the top of the standard by a bolt, as shown in Fig.
