Description

Electronic device and method for analyzing facial information on the electronic device

The invention relates to an electronic device and a method for analyzing facial information on the electronic device. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method for analyzing facial information on an electronic device, wherein once facial information (for example, facial area) is recognized, the recognized area can be enlarged or can be displayed on the area during shooting The focus is automatically set without any user control action.

Various electronic devices have been developed to provide various functions. For example, electronic devices (such as smart phones) have been designed to provide not only the function of capturing images but also the function of identifying the captured objects.

The electronic device can be provided with a display so that the user can use or enjoy various functions more effectively. For example, the latest smart phones can be provided with a touch-sensitive display (such as a touch screen) at the front.

Various applications (or applications) can be installed and run in the electronic device. To run and control applications in the electronic device, various input units (for example, touch screen, buttons, mouse, keyboard, sensors, etc.) can be used.

In order to analyze the object being photographed (for example, the facial area), the electronic device can obtain an image in which the object is enlarged or finely photographed. On the other hand, in order to obtain magnified or finely shot images, the user can determine or identify the objects to be shot and determine whether to set the focus on the detailed area of each object, so as to improve the photography function (or shooting Function) empowerment.

The above information is presented as background information only to help understand the present invention. For example, using the calculated lighting environment, the electronic device can shoot images, so that batch white balance can be set. Besides, even if it doesn’t exist in it In a photography environment with an external light source, the electronic device can still shoot images by adjusting the light source (for example, a light emitting diode (LED) light source) included in the electronic device, so that the batch white balance can be set.

If the white balance is set according to the automatic white balance function during shooting, the face area in the shot image can be set to have a different color according to the white balance set to correspond to each shot image.

For example, the color balance card 2003 can be used for light scattering It is a device that photographs the corrected color of light, or it can be a device for color correction. Although the color balance card 2003 is installed in, for example, the rear camera 2002, the color balance card 2003 can be installed in various other modules that interact with electronic devices.

According to various embodiments of the present invention, the electronic device may determine that the brightness of an image obtained through at least one camera module (for example, the front camera 2001 or the rear camera 2002) is abnormal. For example, the situation in which the brightness of the image is determined to be abnormal may include: a situation in which the light is brighter or darker than a set value, or a situation in which a facial area cannot be obtained.

For example, if the lighting environment where the electronic device is using the front camera 2001 to capture images is determined to be an extreme lighting environment, the electronic device may not store the images being captured by the front camera 2001, or control the front camera 2001 so that the photography function may not be performed Empowerment.

According to various embodiments of the present invention, if the lighting environment in which the electronic device is using the front camera 2001 to capture images is determined to be an abnormal lighting environment, the electronic device may use the color balance card 2003 to calculate the white balance, and the calculated white balance value Applied to the image being taken by the front camera 2001.

Referring to FIG. 20C, it is assumed that the camera 2002 captures or photographs an image after the electronic device is being used. For example, the electronic device can analyze the image being captured by the rear camera 2002.
