Abstract

Disclosed is a dual mode vacuum cleaner which can be used in both a canister mode cleaner and an upright mode cleaner. The cleaner can be easily switched between both modes of operation by simple handling. The cleaner can prevent the flexible hose from being blocked and thereby air-introduction into the brush from being hindered. The vacuum cleaner is switched between a canister mode and an upright mode thereof, manually by forcing the grips to make the levers be closer, or automatically through the pivoting of the coupler.
