Abstract

A wearable multimedia device can be worn on a wrist of a user through a wristband. The wearable multimedia device includes an image capture device for capturing a gesture image, a projection device for projecting for data, and a mainboard. The mainboard is electronically connected to the image capture device and the projection device respectively. The mainboard includes a processor and a memory electronically connected to each other. The memory stores with gestures analysis database. The data can be stored in the same memory or different to the memory that stores with the gesture analysis database. The processor executes a comparing program to compare for the gesture with the gesture analysis database so as to control projecting for the data.

Description

Hand-held multimedia device

The present invention relates to a multimedia device, and more particularly to a hand-held multimedia device.

Conventional projection devices have become increasingly smaller in order to be portable. The smallest device currently available still requires a handheld projection device. In addition, the conventional handheld projection device still controls the playback of images by means of buttons.

To shrink a conventional projection device, the buttons for control can be a big problem. In view of this, the applicant of the present application proposed a method of controlling image playback by using gestures, so that the projection device becomes a hand-held multimedia device.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION A primary object of the present invention is to provide a hand-held multimedia device that wears a hand-held multimedia device on a wrist of a user through a wristband. The hand-held multimedia device comprises: an image capturing device, a projection device and a board. The board is electrically connected to the image capturing device and the projection device. The board includes a processor and a memory, and the processor is electrically connected to the memory. The memory stores a gesture analysis database. The image capture device is used to capture a gesture image. The projection device is used to project and display a message. Information can be stored in the same or different from the stored gesture analysis database Memory. The processor executes a comparison software, and compares the gesture image to the gesture analysis database to control the playback of the information.

The board further includes an input/output device that is electrically coupled to the processor.

The board further includes a network device that is electrically connected to the processor.

In this embodiment, the hand-held multimedia device further includes a housing, and the housing encloses the image capturing device, the projection device, and the machine board.

In another different embodiment, the hand-held multimedia device further includes a battery. The housing encloses the battery and the board. The battery provides power to the image capture device, projection device, and board.

Preferably, the image capturing device further comprises a laser light, wherein the laser light emits light for the user to recognize the allowable range of the image capturing device to capture the gesture image.

Referring to FIG. 1, the hand-held multimedia device 1 of the present invention wears the hand-held multimedia device 1 on the wrist 99 of the user through a wristband 100. The hand-held multimedia device 1 includes an image capturing device 11 and a projection device 12. The image capturing device 11 is configured to capture a gesture image. Preferably, the image capturing device 11 further includes a laser light 111, and the laser light 111 emits light for the user to recognize the allowable range of the image capturing device 11 for capturing the gesture image. The board 13 includes a processor 131 and a memory 132. The processor 131 is electrically connected to the memory 132. The memory 132 stores a gesture analysis database 1322 and information 1321 to be played by the projection device 12. For example, the information 1321 can be information of a PPT file. The gesture analysis database 1322 is configured to compare the gesture images captured by the image capturing device 11 . The processor 131 executes a comparison software 1323 to compare the gesture image to the gesture analysis database 1323 to control the playback of the information 1321. For example, the image capturing device 11 captures the texture of the user's finger 98a (as shown in FIG. 1 or FIG. 2) as a tracking point, and analyzes the path and position of the finger 98a according to the tracking point, and further compares the gesture analysis database. 1323, to determine how to control the information 1321 played by the projection device 12.

In the embodiment, the board 13 further includes an input/output device 133 electrically connected to the processor 131. A hand-held multimedia device wears a hand-held multimedia device on a wrist of a user through a wristband, the hand-held multimedia device comprising: an image capturing device for capturing a gesture image a projection device for projecting and displaying a message; and a board electrically connected to the image capturing device and the projection device, wherein the board comprises a processor and a memory, the processing The device is electrically connected to the memory, and the memory stores the information and a gesture analysis database; wherein the processor executes a comparison software, and compares the gesture image to the gesture analysis database to control the information.
