Abstract

The present invention relates to a touch screen device with automatic calibration prompting function and a method thereof and comprises a touch panel, a display module, and a control module, where the control module has a power supply, a switching circuit, a processor, a storage unit, and a detecting unit. The switching circuit is driven by the power supplied from the power supply and, in a way of interactive switching, outputs the X-Y coordinate signal which is output from the touch panel. The storage unit is used for pre-storing a calibration value and the detecting unit is used for outputting a detecting signal. The processor is electrically connected with the switching circuit, the storage unit, and the detecting unit and is used for transforming the X-Y coordinate signal into the mapping position displayed on the display module. Thus, when the processor receives the detecting signal output from the detecting unit, the processor can compare and determine whether the detecting signal meets the calibration value and prompt whether calibration is again required on the touch screen device.
