Abstract

The topic of the present invention is to let a fuel supply device containing a plunger pump have an ability capable of discharging generated vapor efficiently and cooling the fuel by the vapor. The fuel supply device includes a plunger (112) that is free to move reciprocally and to accommodate an cylinder body 111 defined by the pump chamber (P); a suction valve (123) allowing to suck fuel in; a discharge valve (127) allowing to discharge fuel; a plunger pump 110 sucking fuel in and discharging fuel; and the fuel storage unit (150) containing a filter (152) and integrally arranged at the upstream end of the suction valve (123). The discharge passage (170a) used to let a outlet (121a) of the cylinder body (111) communicates with the fuel storage unit (150) is installed to discharge the leaking fuel or the generated vapor efficiently, and the vapor can cool the fuel in the fuel storage unit (150).
