A contact-device for a plug and socket of a patch-panel is provided, where the plug and socket is through conductor-rails connected with electrical and/or electronic components on a circuit-plate, it is characterized through the following features: (a) At the edge (13) of the circuit-plate (7) at least two contact-arrays (8, 9), which are formed to plugably receive a bridge-spring-strip, are provided. (b) In each of at least two contact-arrays (8, 9) each conductor-rail (3, 4, 5, 6) extends out through a contact-face (10) on the upper side (11) and through a contact-face (10') on the under side (12) of the circuit-plate at the edge. (c) In each of at least two contact-arrays (8, 9) the spatial arrangement of the contact-faces (10, 10') arranged respectively to a conductor-rail (3; 4; 5; 6) is different. (d) Through the plugging of the bridge-spring-strip into one of at least two contact-arrays, the contact-faces (10, 10') at the upper side are contacted respectively with the contact-faces (10, 10') at the lower side.
