Abstract
1 з.п. The invention relates to a device for culturing cells, preferably nerve cells, and can be used in biology and medicine. The invention relates to a device for cultivating cells, preferably nerve cells, and can be used in the field of biology and medicine.
The purpose of the invention is to improve cell culture conditions by allowing the gas phase to form over the culture object, and to enable periodic change of liquid and gaseous growth media and thus improve cell proliferation.
The drawing shows a cell culture chamber, an incision.
The chamber contains the upper 1 and lower 2 parallel plates of transparent material, an elastic pad 3, two nozzles 4 and 5 located opposite one another, and an additional porous annular pad 6 of hydrophilic material placed along the perimeter of the cavity of the chamber. Additional gasket can be made solid or with a cutout on the side of one of the pipes.
The essence of the invention is that when feeding the nutrient medium through one of the nozzles, the additional continuous pad is moistened with the culture fluid to form a thin layer of the nutrient medium on the bottom plate with the object of cultivation. In this case, a certain volume of the gaseous medium, initially filled with the lice, is kept in the cavity of the chamber. All cells are equally distant from the gas phase and are under equal aeration conditions. The chamber provides the possibility of perfusing the culture fluid using a peristaltic pump both along the pores of the additional gasket and along the bottom glass of the chamber, and also to replace the gas phase inside the chamber by blowing it without depressurization of the device. The design of the camera allows continuous microscopic observation of the object during the cultivation process.
If it is necessary, the cultivation of nerve cells under the conditions of periodic change of liquid and gaseous media of growth in an additional padding
При этом заполнение с помощью перистальтического насоса полости камеры поочередно то культуральной жидкостью, то газовой средой происходит равномерно,cut from one of the branch pipes. In this case, the filling of the cavity of the chamber with the help of a peristaltic pump alternately between the culture fluid and the gas medium occurs uniformly,
This circumstance, as well as the stationary position of the chamber, does not prevent continuous microscopic observation of the object of cultivation.
The use of the present invention permits the growth modes to be improved in the cell culture chamber under constant microscopic conditions.
аэрации клеток и улучшению их распластывани .cell aeration and improvement of their spreading.
