Abstract

FIELD: television equipment. SUBSTANCE: invention is meant for achievement of full compatibility of device with PAL standard system of color television. For this purpose transmitting side is inserted with third low-pass filter, amplifier-inverter, second commutator, two recalculation units, one-line delay line, amplitude detector, phase commutator and receiving side is supplemented with two adders, amplifier-inverter, amplitude-detector, phase inverter, amplifier and phase commutator. Use of quadrature modulation of cubcarrier frequency by color-difference signal of left frame of stereopair in nth line and of quadrature modulation of subcarrier frequency by specially recalculated signals X and Y in (n+1)-th line provides for full compatibility. Compatibility quality is improved as narrow-band brightness signal of right frame of stereopair is generated negative and compressed. EFFECT: provision for full compatibility of device with PAL system. 2 dwg
