Abstract
This invention relates to methods for preventing peritoneal adhesions. To prevent adhesions in the postoperative period, for 3-4 days, an aerosol containing fibronolysin 15-20 thousand units is administered into the abdominal cavity, streptomycin 400-500 thousand units, hydrocortisone 60-80 mg, 0 , 5% solution of novocaine 60-80 ml, tween-20 0.4-0.8 ml and oxygen. The aerosol is prepared immediately prior to introduction into the foaming agent, where the drug mixture is placed and oxygen is passed through to form a stable fine foam.
Description
The invention relates to medicine, in particular, to methods for the prevention of peritonial adhesions.
Целью изобретени вл етс снижение числа случаев спайкообразова- ни за счет исключени высыхани брюшины путем нанесени лекарственных препаратов в виде пенной аэрозоли .The aim of the invention is to reduce the incidence of adhesions by eliminating the drying of the peritoneum by applying drugs in the form of foam aerosols.
The method is carried out as follows.
In the postoperative period, for 3-4 days once a day, the patient is injected into the abdominal cavity with foamy oxygen aerosol of medicinal substances. The peritoneum is thus oxygenated and is not dried. At the same time, the most complete contact of the peritoneum with medicinal substances is ensured. The aerosol is introduced into the abdominal cavity through a polyvinyl chloride tube (mm), which is fixed when the abdominal wall is closed in the upper corner of the wound. The aerosol is prepared immediately prior to the introduction into the foaming agent of known construction. The frother is filled with room temperature medicinal substances in the following ratio of components:
60-80Fibrinolysin, thousands of units, 15-20 Streptomycin 5, thousand, units, 400-500 Hydrocortisone, mg 60-80 Novocain 0.5% solution, ml60-80

Then oxygen is passed through this mixture, converting it into a stable fine foam. The outlet of the foaming agent is connected to the end of a PVC tube, the other end of which is in the abdominal cavity. The rate of oxygen supply to the foaming agent is adjusted in such a way that the foam exits and moves along the tube in a continuous uniform flow. From the specified amount of medicinal substances 400-450 ml of foam are formed in 1-, 5 minutes. After the entire aerosol has been introduced, the end of the PVC tube is disconnected from the outlet of the foaming agent and tied. After 3-4 days, the polyvinyl chloride tube is removed from the abdominal cavity.

Example 1 During 3–4 days of the postoperative period, once a day a foamed oxygen aerosol of medicinal substances is introduced into the abdominal cavity through a PVC tube. Prepare an aerosol immediately prior to administration, fill the foaming agent with medicinal substances in the following proportions:

После введени всего объема пены полихлорвиниловую трубку разъедин ют с патрубком пенообразовател и перев зывают до следующего введени .Oxygen and a solution of medicinal substances are passed into the frother, transforming them into stable fine foam. The blowing agent outlet is connected to a PVC tube and the foam spray enters the abdominal cavity. The rate of oxygen supply is adjusted so that the foam comes out and moves through the tube in a continuous uniform flow. From the specified amount of drugs, 400-450 ml of foam are formed in 1-1.5 minutes. After introducing the entire volume of foam, the PVC tube is disconnected from the foaming agent pipe and tied until the next injection.
15-23%.The effectiveness of the method of prevention of adhesion formation was tested in an experiment on 26 rabbits. A significant decrease in adhesions by 15–23% was recorded.
Example 2. In Example I, the foaming agent is filled with medicinal substances in the following proportion:

From the specified amount of drugs, 400-450 ml of foam aerosols are formed. In the same way and in the same mode as in example I, azro-55 sol is introduced into the abdominal cavity. The effectiveness of the method is increased by 15–23%. The method was carried out in an experiment on 26 rabbits and is recommended for use in the clinic.
