Abstract

The invention provides a method for generating test data, the generating method comprising the steps of: calculating total requirements of simulation test data according to simulation test data requirements of each application system; performing a cleaning processing on data of each application system in a predefined sequence and a predefined data conversion rule according to the total requirements of the simulation test data; and generating test data of each application system in the predefined sequence from the cleaning processed data of each application system in turn. Therefore, the adoption of the method of the invention can create the simulation test database, such that the invested cost of the test could be reduced by the reuse of the test data. [Figure 1]
