Abstract

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR FACILITATING PAYMENT CARD BASED FINANCIAL TRANSACTIONS A method and system for facilitating payment card based financial transactions are provided. A server system associated with a payment network receives an input provided by a user using an electronic device. The input is capable of uniquely identifying the user. The server system is configured to retrieve information related to one or more payment cards linked with the user if the user is successfully identified using the input. Subsequent to successful identification of the user, a prompt is displayed on the electronic device for seeking selection of a payment card for executing a financial transaction from the user. The server system receives a user selection of a payment card from among the one or more payment cards and facilitates processing of the financial transaction based on the user selection of the payment card. {Figure } 45
