Abstract

The present invention relates to a problem with how to achieve an apparatus and a system which minimize the power consumption for a radio communication link. This problem is solved by providing a communication apparatus (102) comprising a first communication device (201) arranged for receiving and transmitting data to and from a data bank (103) through a radio communication interface, a data storage area (106;203) arranged for storing data to be communicated between said data bank and a first equipment. Said communication apparatus further comprising a low power circuit (204), having considerable lower power consumption than said first communication devices (201), and where said first low power circuit (204) being arranged for, at regular time intervals, activate power feeding to said first communication device. Said first communication device being arranged for transmitting a first message to said data bank when said power feed is activated, and said data bank being arranged for sending first data to said first communication device upon reception of said first message.
