Abstract

Vibration damper for damping vibrations on a surface (3) of an object (4). The damper comprises at least one oscillating body (2), which is movably connected to the surface so that the oscillating body is made to vibrate such that it transfers forces to the object, which forces are substantially opposed to the forces which act on the body due to the vibrations. The damper presents a fastening arrangement (1) made from a shape-permanent material and intended to be fixedly attached at the surface of the object. The vibration damper presents elastic suspension means (15), which are fixedly connected both to the oscillating body (2) as well as to the fastening arrangement (1). The suspension means are attached to the fastening arrangement at attachment locations on which the fastening arrangement is divided, so that parts of at least two fastening portions (16, 17), for each attachment location, together form a shape-lock or friction-lock for each suspension means.
