Abstract

A device for transferring materials to be press-processed is provided with a housing (20), an elevation/descent mechanism arranged in a direction perpendicular to the housing, a rotation mechanism (25) supported by the elevation/descent mechanism, an arm body (41) provided in a direction horizontal to the said rotation mechanism, which can be extended and retracted, an extension/retraction mechanism (50,51) provided in the arm body, a grip part (76) provided at an end of the arm body which is capable of swinging and torsional movements, and a mechanism (84) for swinging and torsional movements provided at the grip part. The device is further provided with a computer box (95) in the housing (20) in which a computer for operating and controlling each of the mechanisms, is housed, as well as with an operation board (97) in the form of a pendant connected with the computer for teaching it operations of each of the mechanisms of the device and for inputting operations. The operation board has a character display for indicating the order of operations by characters and an input keyboard, and it teaches operations to each of the mechanisms of the device by means of the keyboard based on the operation order indicated in the character display, while inputting the operations in order into the computer by means of input program and enables each of the mechanisms to operate repeatedly. <IMAGE>
