A method and apparatus for monitoring and storing breathing disorder events utilizing an artificial neural network system for the measurement, detection, quantification, and diagnosis of breathing disorder events using a flow or pressure curve divided into two or more intervals using a predefined time factor or intervals indicative of patient breathing cycle phases in the neural network system.
