Abstract

FIELD: production of equipment producing ozone by electric discharge and used to ozonize water and to neutralize harmful gasses in the air. SUBSTANCE: cascade ozonizer allows to solve task to decrease inhomogeneity of discharge in clearance of cascade ozonizer and to maintain its durability. Proposed cascade ozonizer has two electrodes (one - solid and one - sectional) mounted with clearance between each other. Sectional electrode is made of electric current conducting plate, on which dielectric is deposited. On dielectric there sections divided for separate subsections. Solid electrode is made of current conducting plate and fixed on it dielectric. Both electrodes are connected to source of high-voltage. Currently conducting members are located on dielectric. EFFECT: improved design. 3 dwg

The invention relates to techniques for producing ozone using an electric discharge and can be used to ozonize water and neutralize harmful gases in the air. The invention solves the problem of reducing discharge heterogeneity in the gap of a cascade ozonizer while maintaining its durability. Cascade ozonizer contains two electrodes, solid and sectioned, installed with a gap relative to each other. A sectioned electrode consists of a conductive plate on which a dielectric is applied. The insulator has sections divided into separate subsections. A solid electrode consists of a conductive plate and a dielectric mounted on it. Both electrodes are connected to a high voltage source. Conducting elements are placed on the dielectric.
